Захарова подтвердила планы участия Лаврова в заседании формата «3+3» в Стамбуле

Российская сторона подтверждает планирующееся участие главы МИД РФ Сергея Лаврова в заседании платформы «3+3» по Южному Кавказу в Стамбуле 18 октября. Об этом заявила ТАСС официальный представитель МИД России Мария Захарова.
«Подтверждаем планирующееся участие Сергея Викторовича Лаврова», - отметила она, отвечая на соответствующий вопрос.
С инициативой шестистороннего формата сотрудничества по Южному Кавказу (Азербайджан, Армения, Грузия - Россия, Турция, Иран) выступили в конце 2020 года лидеры Азербайджана и Турции Ильхам Алиев и Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган, позднее он получил название «3+3». Россия и Иран приветствовали эту идею, Армения также присоединилась к участию в формате. Грузия заявила, что не планирует участвовать в инициативе. 10 декабря 2021 года в Москве прошло первое заседание консультативной региональной платформы на уровне заместителей министров иностранных дел пяти стран. Последнее заседание на уровне глав МИД прошло в Тегеране в октябре 2023 года.
