2024 թվականի 8 ամիսների ընթացքում, նախորդ տարվա հաշվետու ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ, Հայաստանում արձանագրվել է ծանր հանցագործությունների դեպքերի գրեթե 12% նվազում։
Դրա մասին Ազգային ժողովում հոկտեմբերի 15-ին երկրում հանցավոր իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ խորհրդարանական լսումների ժամանակ հայտարարել է Հանրապետության գլխավոր դատախազ Աննա Վարդապետյանը։
Այսպես, 2023-ի համեմատ նման դեպքերը 437-ով (11,6%-ով) ավելի քիչ են եղել։
«Միևնույն ժամանակ առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործությունների թիվն աճել է 16-ով կամ 4,5%-ով»,-նշել է Վարդապետյանը։
Միաժամանակ առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործությունների թիվը (հանկարծակի մահերը չհաշված) 2023 թվականին կազմել է 546 դեպք, որը 2019 թվականի համեմատ 262-ով կամ 92,2%-ով ավելի է:
