ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը Հայաստանի վարչապետին և Ադրբեջանի նախագահին ուղղված իր նամակներում ասել է ուղիղ այն, ինչը Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական օրակարգի առաջնահերթությունն է: 

Խորհրդարանական ճեպազրույցում այս մասին ասաց ԱԺ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հռիփսիմե Գրիգորյանը՝ անդրադառնալով ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի՝  Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարներին հղած նամակներին, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացում ԱՄՆ-ի միջնորդական ջանքերի ակտիվացմանը: 

«Սրան պետք է նայել շատ դրական: Հայաստանի դիրքորոշումն է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև կարգավորման գործընթացը պետք է հնարավորինս շուտ ավարտին հասցվի ու խաղաղության պայմանագիր ստորագրվի: ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բայդենը և՛ Ադրբեջանի նախագահին, և՛ Հայաստանի վարչապետին ուղղված իր նամակներում խոսում է սրա մասին՝ նշելով, որ ԱՄՆ-ն պատրաստ է բոլոր ջանքերը գործադրել, որ Հարավային Կովկասում կայունություն հաստատվի և խաղաղության պայմանագիրը շուտափույթ կերպով կնքվի: Սա ուղիղ այն է, ինչը Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական օրակարգում առաջնահերթություն է, որ մեր միջազգային գործընկերները, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ն, հայտնեն դիրքորոշում առ այն, որ խաղաղության պայմանագիրը պետք է ստորագրել շուտափույթ կերպով»,–ասաց Հռիփսիմե Գրիգորյանը:

Պատգամավորը հավելեց՝ սա շատ կարևոր է և համապատասխանում է Հայաստանի օրակարգին: 

ՀՀ Վարչապետին ուղղված նամակում Ջո Բայդենը նշել էր, որ իր վարչակազմը պատրաստ է ձեռնարկել համարձակ նախաձեռնություններ, որոնք կօգնեն հարթել ճանապարհը դեպի խաղաղություն: Բայդենը տեղեկացրել էր, որ ինքը խնդրել է Եվրոպայի գծով գլխավոր տնօրեն Մայքլ Քարփենթերին տեղեկացնել Հայաստանի վարչապետին որոշ քայլերի մասին, որոնք իրենք կցանկանային ձեռնարկել և ստանալ հայկական կողմի կարծիքն Ադրբեջանի հետ քննարկումների վերաբերյալ:  

Ամերիկյան այս առաջարկների առնչությամբ պատգամավորը շատ մանրամասներ չբացեց՝ նշելով, որ դրանք հնարավորության սահմաններում հստակ շարադրված են Բայդենի նամակներում: «Եվ դրանք քննարկվում են աշխատանքային կարգով առանձին հանդիպումներում»,-ընդգծեց նա:
