2024 թ. 8 ամսում Հայաստանից Իրան արտահանումն ավելացել է 7 %-ով։ Այս մասին ՀՀ ԱԺ տարածաշրջանային և եվրասիական ինտեգրման հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նիստի ժամանակ ասաց ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Գևորգ Պապոյանը։
Նա հանձնաժողովին է ներկայացրել «Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության և դրա անդամ պետությունների և Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության միջև ազատ առևտրի մասին» համաձայնագիրը վավերացնելու մասին օրինագիծը։
«Սովորաբար, մեր առևտրաշրջանառության մեջ հիմնական մասնաբաժինը ներմուծումն է, և Իրանի հետ այս համաձայնագիրը կօգնի, որպեսզի իրանական ընկերությունները Հայաստանը դիտարկեն որպես ԵԱՏՄ մուտքի շուկա, քանի որ ՀՀ-ն միակ երկիրն է, որը ԵԱՏՄ-ի հետ ունի ցամաքային ճանապարհ։
Մյուս կողմից դա հնարավորություն է տալիս, որպեսզի մեր ապրանքներն անխոչընդոտ մուտք գործեն Իրան, քանի որ, ավանդաբար, Իրանը սեփական տնտեսությունը պաշտպանող, պրոտեկցիոն պետություն է»,-ասել է Պապոյանը:
Նա հավելել է, որ 2022-2023 թթ. 7 տոկոսով նվազել է էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտահանումը Իրան, փոխարենը 2.4 անգամ աճել է պղնձի, հանքաքարի և խտանյութի արտահանումը, 4 տոկոսով աճել է ոչխարի, այծի մսի արտահանումը, նվազել ծխախոտային արտադրանքի արտահանումը։
