Այս տարվա սեպտեմբերի վերջին Նյու Յորք կատարած այցի ընթացքում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հյուրընկալվել էր «Թուրքական տանը», հանդիպել Ռեջեփ Էրդողանին, նվեր ստացել նրա հեղինակած «Ավելի արդար աշխարհ հնարավոր է» գիրքը։ Փաշինյանն անգամ այդ գիրքը կրծքին սեղմած լուսանկարվել էր, ապա իր ընտանեկան թերթով ծավալուն մի հոդված երկնել, թե ինչ հումանիստական գիրք է գրել Թուրքիայի նախագահ Էրդողանը։ Զավեշտ է, որ ցեղասպան երկրի նախագահը մարդասիրության, արդար աշխարհի մասին գիրք է գրում, Թուրքիայից բազմիցս տուժած Հայաստանի ղեկավարն էլ ժպիտը դեմքին, գիրքը կրծքին՝ նկարվում։

44-օրյա պատերազմի օրերին ինքը՝ Փաշինյանն էր ելույթ ունենում, հայտարարում, որ Թուրքիան վերադառնում է տարածաշրջան, որպեսզի ավարտի ցեղասպանությունը։ Պարզվում է՝ Փաշինյանը միայն գիրքը գրկելով Էրդողանից չի  ազատվելու։ Թուրքական կողմը նախաձեռնել է Էրդողանի գիրքը հայերեն թարգմանելու աշխատանքը, ընդ որում, իրենք էլ ֆինանսավորելու են այդ գրքի հրատարակումը։ Այդ պահանջը դրվել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի դեմ, վերջինս էլ բնավ դեմ չէ թարգմանել Թուրքիայի նախագահի հեղինակածը։ Չի բացառվում, որ իր ընտանեկան թերթում էլ հատվածներ տպեն։ Թուրքական ֆինանսները՝ հայկական փաթեթավորմամբ, որոշների համար կարող է գրավիչ լինել, անկասկած կլինեն հրատարակչություններ, օրինակ «Անտարեսը» կամ մեկ այլ տպագրատուն, որոնք մեծ հաճույքով այդ գիրքը կտպեն։

Ագրեսիվ ու լկտի ձևով Թուրքիան ցույց է տալիս իր ներկայությունը, օվերտոնի պատուհան բացելով՝ ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին սովորեցնում են, որ ՀՀ տարածքի գրախանութներում կարող է լինել Էրդողանի նկարով գիրք և դա նորմալ ընկալվի։
