Ըստ ամերիկյան դեսպանատան աղբյուրների՝ ամերիկյան հատուկ ծառայությունները, իրենց տեղական վերլուծական կենտրոնը, ողջ թափով վերլուծություններ են անում արտահերթ ընտրությունների հնարավորության հարցով, ուսումնասիրում են, թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վարկանիշի վրա ինչը կարող է դրական ազդել, ինչը՝ բացասական, Փաշինյանի գործողություններից որոնք կարող են դրական լինել։ Այդ ուսումնասիրությունն արվում է հասկանալու, թե որքանով է նպատակահարմար Փաշինյանի հետագա պաշտոնավարումը։ Համարում են, որ Փաշինյանը «տրոյական ձի» է, ով իրականում բլեֆ է անում արևմտյան կողմնորոշման մասով։

Ուսումնասիրություններ արվում են նաև բաց մեդիա դաշտում, թե այս կամ այն իրադարձության վերաբերյալ համեմատաբար նեյտրալ օգտատերերն ինչ արձագանք են տալիս։ Պարզվել է, որ հեծանվային արշավները որևէ դրական ազդեցություն չեն գործում։ Շատերը, որոնք ոչ իշխանություն են, ոչ ընդդիմություն, բացասական են վերաբերվում Փաշինյանի «կլոունադային»՝ համարելով, որ դա շոու է։ Ամենահետաքրքիրն այն է, որ ահավոր բացասական ռեակցիա կա Աննա Հակոբյանի ցանկացած ակտիվության շուրջ։ Վարչապետի տիկնոջ ցանկացած քայլ նյարդայնացնում է օգտատերերին՝ բացասական մեկնաբանություններ, ռեակցիաներ։

Այս ուսումնասիրությունը շարունակվելու է, ամերիկացիները հիմա հստակ ուզում են հասկանալ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հեռանկարները, ընդ որում՝ արտահերթ ընտրությունների սխեմայով։ Լավ պատկերացնում են, որ ԱՄՆ-ը լեգիտիմացնի կամ ապալեգիտիմացնի ցանկացած իշխանություն։

Ուզում են, ըստ էության, արտահերթ ընտրությունների միջոցով, խորհրդարան մտցնել արևմտամետ ընդդիմությունը, որը վերահսկիչ փաթեթ կունենա Փաշինյանի իշխանության մեջ, քանի որ ՔՊ-ն առանց ամերիկյան շարասյան չի կարողանալու 50+1 տոկոս հավաքել։
