Այսօր աչքովս ընկավ, թե ինչպես է մեր լրագրողներից մեկը, ով, ի դեպ, լավ կլինի մեկ-երկու գեղարվեստական գիրք կարդա, վստահ եմ, պետք կգա, հերթական հարցադրումն անում զրուցակցին առ այն, թե ո՞վ և ինչպե՞ս պարտվեց պատերազմը:

Այն Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և Սերժ Սարգսյանի «արդյունավետ կառավարման» պատկերն է։ Սկսած 2000-ականների սկզբից Ադրբեջանի մեկ շնչին ընկնող ՀՆԱ-ն արագ տեմպերով աճում է Հայաստանի նկատմամբ: Գալիս է մի պահ, երբ այն կրկնակի ավել է լինում Հայաստանի մեկ շնչին ընկնող ՀՆԱ-ից։ Հաշվի առնելով, որ Ադրբեջանի բնակչության թիվը գրեթե չորս անգամ մեծ է Հայաստանի բնակչությունից, Ադրբեջանը գեներացնում է մոտ 8 անգամ ավելի մեծ ՀՆԱ։ Այդ տարիներին շեշտակիորեն աճում են Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ծախսերը և սպառազինությունների գնումները (որոշ տարիներին այն 10 անգամ գերազանցում էր Հայասատանի ռազմական ծախսերը)։
Սա ժամացույցի մեխանիզմով աշխատող ռումբ էր, որը մի օր պիտի պայթեր և այդ փորձնական պայթյունը եղավ 2016-ի ապրիլին, իսկ ամբողջականը՝ 2020-ի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին։
