Գործող վարչախումբը ռեպրեսիաների և հետապնդումների նոր ալիք է սկսել երկրում, ընդ որում, նոր մարտավարություն որդեգրելով։ Նախօրեին ապօրինի զենք պահելու կասկածանքով ձերբակալված 9 անձինք էլ ազատ են արձակվել ձերբակալման անհրաժեշտությունը վերանալու հիմքով։ Ձերբակալվածների թվում էր նաև պետական կառավարման մասնագետ Հովհաննես Ավետիսյանը։ Նրա փաստաբանի խոսքով, գիշերը մինչև 01։30 մի քանի քննչական գործողություն են իրականացրել՝ մեքենայի խուզարկություն, այնուհետև բնակարանի խուզարկություն՝ ապօրինի զենք պահելու կասկածը հիմնավորելու նպատակով։

Խուզարկությունների արդյունքում ոչ Ավետիսյանի, ոչ մյուս ձերբակալվածների մոտ զենք չեն հայտնաբերել, ստիպված բոլորին ազատ են արձակել։ Բայց վստահաբար, նրանք ոչ առաջին, ոչ վերջին ձերբակալվածներն ու հետապնդվողներն են։ Դեպի բռնապետություն սլացող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի թիրախում ավանդաբար ընդդիմադիր առաջնորդներն ու ակտիվիստներն են եղել, բայց այժմ անցել են նաև հասարակ քաղաքացիներին, որոնք ընդդիմադիր հայացքներ ունեն։ Այսկերպ, գործող իշխանությունները փորձում են ահաբեկել հանրությանը, ասել, որ ոչ ոք ապահովագրված չէ ձերբակալությունից։ Որոշների վրա նման ձերբակալություններն, իհարկե չեն ազդի, բայց շատ-շատերը կարող են ահաբեկվել իշխանության ապօրինի գործողություններից։ Հենց դրան էլ միտված է Փաշինյանի նոր մարտավարությունը՝ ահաբեկել հանրային լայն շերտերին, որպեսզի չհամարձակվեն դուրս գալ փողոց՝ բողոքելու իշխանության դավաճանական քաղաքականության դեմ։
