Президент РФ Владимир Путин заявил, что лидеры стран СНГ по традиции соберутся в конце декабря, а в 2025 году совместно отметят 80-летие Победы в Великой Отечественной войне.
«Конечно, рад видеть здесь послов Белоруссии, Киргизии, Армении и Азербайджана, - сказал российский лидер на церемонии вручения верительных грамот иностранными послами в Кремле. - Эти государства являются ближайшими соседями, самыми добрыми друзьями, естественными стратегическими партнерами и союзниками России. С их лидерами мы встречались совсем недавно, в октябре в Москве в ходе саммита СНГ. Еще по традиции соберемся в конце декабря, чтобы подвести итоги года и наметить планы на перспективу, а в 2025 году совместно отметим 80-летие Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, вклад в достижение которой внесли народы всех государств Содружества».
В 2023 году лидеры стран СНГ встречались 25 декабря в Санкт-Петербурге.
Церемония вручения верительных грамот президенту РФ новыми иностранными послами состоялась в Александровском зале Большого Кремлевского дворца. В ней приняли участие посланники из 28 стран.
