Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի կազմավորման 24-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ Գյումրիում տեղի ունեցավ զինվորական շքերթ: Ցուրտ եղանակը նույնիսկ չխանգարեց  Շիրակի կայազորի հակատանկային-հրետանային զորամասի զինվորներին ցուցադրելու այն հմտություները, որ ձեռք են բերել ծառայության ընթացքում: Հայոց մարտունակ բանակում ծառայ ելու հպարտություն նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրն ուներ.   յուրաքանչյուր հայի համար է հայոց  բանակն ազգային հպարտություն, որի ուժի ու մարտունակության շնորհիվ պահպանվում է խաղաղությունը: «Մենք հպարտանալու տեղ ունենք՝ ունենք կայացած ու կայուն բանակ: Այսօր ունենք այն բանակը, որը չենք ունեցել շատ երկար տարիներ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Շիրակի կայազորի հակատանկային-հրետանային զորամասի հրամանատարի տեղակալ փոխգնդապետ Արմեն Գրիգորյանը:

«Հայաստանի անկախության օրվանից ի վեր, մեր երկրի ձեռքբերումներից մեկն ազգային բանակի կայացումն է, որի ակունքներում կանգնած են Արցախյան ազատագրական պայքարի տարիներին ձևավորված  կամավորական ջոկատները, որոնք հետագայում դարձան Հայոց բանակի հիմնասյունը: Հայկական զինուժը մեր երկրի սահմանների հուսալի պաշտպանն է»,-շնորհավորելով զինվորներին ու ողջ հայ ազգին` նշեց փոխգնդապետ Մուշեղ Տիտանյանը:

Հայ զինվորի կողքին ու հայոց բանակում արդեն 20 տարի է հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու  հոգևոր սպասավորներ կան: Հայոց բանակում հոգևոր ծառայության դերի կարևորությունը զգալով դեռ երջանկահիշատակ Գարեգի Ա կաթողիկոսի օրոք զորամասերում ծառայության անցան հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու ներկայացուցիչները: Շիրակի կայազորի հոգևոր պատասխանատու Տեր Հակոբ քահանա Գրիգորյանը ինչպես առօրյա իր պարտականությունների ժամանակ այսօր ևս զինվորների կողքին էր: «Մեր ողջ պատմության ընթացքում մեր հաղթանակները կերտվել են վասն հավատի ու վասն հայրենյաց զույգ համատեղ սկզ բունքների վրա: Այս ընթացքում, բնականաբար, հաջողութուններ արձանագրվել են զինվորների հոգևոր դաստիարակության, հայրենասիրության մեջ նաև հոգևորը տեսնելու առումով և վստահ եմ, որ պտուղները բոլորի համար էլ տեսանելի են»,-նշեց տեր Հակոբ քահանա Գրիգորյանը:

Հայոց բանակին տոնի առթիվ շնորհավորեցին նաև մարզային ու քաղաքային իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչները:
