Անկախ երկրի տնտեսական, սոցիալական, քաղաքական վիճակից` հասարակությունը բանակի նկատմամբ վերաբերմունքը պետք է չփոխի: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց «Ազգային անվտանգություն» կուսակցության նախագահ Գառնիկ Իսագուլյանը:

«Մեր բացասական վերաբերմունքը առանձին անձի նկատմամբ երբեք պետք է չփոխանցվի բանակին, պետք է հայելային անդրադարձ չլինի բանակի նկատմամբ: Իմ կապը բանակի հետ մշտական է. շատ հաճախ եմ լինում սահմաններում: Սահմանին կանգնած տղաները գուցե առաջին օրերին, առաջին հերթապահության ժամանակ որոշակի խնդիրներ են ունենում, բայց որոշ ժամանակ անց ասում են, որ դա իրենց տունն է, աշխատանքը»,- շնորհավորելով Հայոց բանակին 24  ամյակի կապակցությամբ` նշեց Իսագուլյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` կարևոր է, որ հայ երեխաների մեջ փոքր տարիքից դաստիարակվի հայրենիքի, բանակի նկատմամբ սերը: Իսագուլյանի համոզմամբ` անկախության առաջին տարիներին մանկահասակ երեխաների մեջ բանակի ու հայրենիքի հանդեպ սերն ավելի մեծ էր, քան այսօր: Այս բացը լրացնելու համար անհրաժեշտ է հասարակության մեջ բանակի ու պետության նկատմամբ ճիշտ վերաբերմունք ձևավորել: Սահմանին կանգնած զինվորներին ոչինչ չի կոտրում, անգամ կորուստները, որոնք մենք ցավոք ունենում ենք: Շատ լավ կլինի, որ այդ հրաշալի վերաբերմունքին կարողանանք համարժեք պատասխան, վերաբերմունք տալ:

Հունվարի 28-ը Հայկական բանակի կազմավորման օրն է, այն 24 տարեկան է: 1992թ. հունվարի 28-ին Կառավարությունն ընդունեց «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Պաշտպանության նախարարության մասին» պատմական որոշում` դրանով իսկ իրավականորեն ազդարարելով Հայոց Ազգային բանակի ստեղծումը: 1992թ. մայիսին պաշտպանության նախարարությունը սկսեց առաջին զորակոչը հանրապետության տարածքում` հիմք դնելով բանակը ժամկետային զինծառայողներով համալրելու կայուն ավանդույթին:
