Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև տրանսպորտային հաղորդակցությունների բացումը նոր թեմա չէ, 
Ադրբեջանում կառուցվում է տրանսպորտային կապի ենթակառուցվածք, որը շուտով կհասցվի Հայաստանի հետ սահման, այս մասին ասել է Ադրբեջանի ԱԳ նախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովը:

Նա նշել է, որ 2020 թվականի եռակողմ հայտարարությունում հատուկ կետ կա դրա վերաբերյալ.«Դրանում հստակեցված են այն պարտավորությունները, որոնք Հայաստանը ստանձնում է։ Այս թեման երկար ժամանակ քննարկվել է։ 3,5 տարվա քննարկումներից հետո «ձեռք է բերվել պայմանավորվածություն» արտահայտությունը համարում ենք ուշացած։ Այս պայմանավորվածությունը պետք է վաղուց ձեռք բերված լիներ։Եթե այս հարցի վերաբերյալ դեռ պաշտոնական փաստաթուղթ չկա, եթե Հայաստանն այս ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ չի սկսել, ուրեմն դեռ բաց հարցեր կան: Իսկ Ադրբեջանի տարածքում երկար ժամանակ արագ տեմպերով աշխատանքներ են տարվում տրանսպորտային կապի ենթակառուցվածքի ստեղծման ուղղությամբ, որը շուտով կհասցվի Հայաստանի հետ սահման»,- ասել է նա:

Նա հավելել է, որ ներկայում ադրբեջանական կողմի ուշադրությունը կենտրոնացած է COP29-ի վրա, և հայկական կողմի հետ հանդիպումը խաղաղության պայմանագրի նախագիծը քննարկելու համար մինչև դեկտեմբեր անհնար է։ Բյարամովի խոսքով՝ նման հանդիպում կարող է լինել դեկտեմբերին կամ հունվարին, սակայն կոնկրետ պայմանավորվածություն այս հարցում դեռ չկա։
