Ադրբեջանական վարչակազմը Ստեփանակերտում քանդել է ևս 2,5 հեկտար բնակելի շենքեր՝ քաղաքի նախկինում քանդված պատմական 6 թաղամասերի հարևանությամբ։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է Արցախի բռնազավթված տարածքներում մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանության պետական խորհրդի քարտուղար Սերգեյ Շահվերդյանը։
«Այսպես, հոկտեմբեր-նոյեմբեր ամիսներին Արցախի Հանրապետության մայրաքաղաքի կենտրոնում քանդվել է շուրջ 8,5 հա բնակելի տարածք։ Նախկինում գետնին են հավասարվել համալսարանին հարակից 3,5 հա և «Եվրոպա» հյուրանոցին հարակից բնակելի շենքերը՝ 0,5 հա։
Հիշեցնենք, որ հասարակական շենքերի առաջին քանդումները գրանցվել են գարնանը, այնուհետև Ադրբեջանի վարչակազմը քանդել է Արցախի խորհրդարանի շենքը, Վետերանների միության շենքը և Վերածննդի հրապարակում գտնվող Արմենիա հյուրանոցը։
Ակնհայտ է, որ Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի որոշումների նման ակնհայտ խախտումները հնարավոր են միայն այն դեպքում, երբ Ադրբեջանը վստահ լինի իր անպատժելիության հարցում։ Այս վստահությունը հաստատվում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կողմից առնվազն հասարակական արձագանքի բացակայությամբ և Արցախի կառավարման մարմինների համապատասխան գործողություններով»։
