Ամերիկացի բարձրաստիճան միջնորդը երեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ «իրական հնարավորություն» կա վերջ դնելու Իսրայելի և Լիբանանի «Հըզբոլլահ» շարժման միջև հակամարտությանը, և որ ճեղքումները փակվում են՝ ազդարարելով Վաշինգտոնի ջանքերում հրադադարի հասնելու առաջընթացը, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը:
Սպիտակ տան խոսնակ Ամոս Հոխշտեյնը ելույթ է ունեցել Բեյրութում՝ խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Նաբիհ Բերրիի հետ բանակցություններից հետո, մեկ օր անց, երբ Լիբանանի կառավարությունը և «Հըզբոլլահ»-ը համաձայնեցին հրադադարի վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ առաջարկին։
«Ես վերադարձա, քանի որ իրական հնարավորություն ունենք վերջ դնելու այս հակամարտությանը»,-հայտարարել է Հոխշթեյնը հանդիպումից հետո մամուլի ասուլիսում: -Հիմա դա մեր ուժերի սահմաններում է։ Քանի որ հիմա ժամանակ կա, հույս ունեմ, որ առաջիկա օրերին վերջնական որոշում կընդունվի»։
Հոխշթեյնի առաքելությունը նշում է ԱՄՆ հեռացող վարչակազմի վերջին ջանքերը՝ Լիբանանում հրադադարի հասնելու համար: «Asharq Al-Awsat» պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում Լիբանանի խորհրդարանի խոսնակն ասել է, որ իրավիճակը «սկզբունքորեն լավ է», և զինադադարի առաջարկի որոշ մանրամասներ դեռևս հստակեցման կարիք ունեն, ներառյալ՝ տեխնիկական մանրամասները: Նա նշել է, որ նախքան Իսրայել մեկնելը Հոխշթեյնը կպարզի այդ մանրամասները, և որ Լիբանանը Միացյալ Նահանգներին դիտարկում է որպես Իսրայելի դիրքորոշման երաշխավոր:
Իր հերթին, Իսրայելի էներգետիկայի նախարար Էլի Քոհենը երեքշաբթի անցկացված համաժողովում հայտարարել է, որ «բանակցություններ են ընթանում Լիբանանի հետ համաձայնագրի շուրջ», սակայն Իսրայելը կհամաձայնի միայն այն դեպքում, եթե կատարվեն նրա բոլոր պահանջները, «Հըզբոլլահ»-ին սահմանից հետ մղելու պահանջով հանդերձ:
