Հայաստանը Հնդկաստանի հետ բանակցություններ է վարում եւս 78 միավոր ATAGS քարշակող հրետանային համակարգեր գնելու շուրջ։ Այս մասին գրել է Indian Defence Research Wing (IDRW) պարբերականը։
«Դրանք հաջորդել են ATAGS-ների հաջող ցուցանիշներին, որոնք մատակարարվել են Հայաստան։ Դրանք դրսեւորել են բացառիկ հնարավորություններ՝ երկրի տարբեր լանդշաֆտներում։
Վեց հաուբիցից բաղկացած առաջին խմբաքանակը Հայաստանում լայն փորձարկումներ է անցել, այդ թվում բարձրլեռնային տեղանքում եւ հարթ վայրում։
Փորձարկումները հաստատել են ճշգրտությունը մեծ հեռավորություններում եւ բարձր հուսալիությունը, ինչը Հայաստանի իշխանություններին մղել է դիտարկելու ավելի մասշտաբային ծավալներով գնումների հնարավորությունը։
Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը ձգտում է ինտեգրել զինծառայողների ցանկությունները՝ կատարելագործելու համար ATAGS-ի հաջորդ խմբաքանակը։ Հատկանշական գործառույթներից է արդեն համակարգում ներառված հայերեն ինտերֆեյսը, ինչը հեշտացնում է գործադրումը։
Ակնկալվում է, որ հայկական բանակը կշարունակի աննշան թարմացումներն իր կոնկրետ պահանջներին հրետանային համակարգերի հետագա ադապտացման համար։
Հեռանկարային գործարքը լրացուցիչ 78 միավոր ATAGS-ի վերաբերյալ նշանավորում է եւս մեկ փուլ՝ Հայաստանի եւ Հնդկաստանի միջեւ աճող պաշտպանական համագործակցությունում։ Մինչ այդ, Հայաստանը գնել էր Pinaka կայանքներ եւ այլ պաշտպանական սպառազինություն»,- գրել է պարբերականը։
