Ученые разработали пластырь, контролирующий артериальное давление в режиме нон-стоп

Носимый пластырь размером с почтовую марку, который может непрерывно контролировать артериальное давление, вскоре может помочь людям справиться с гипертонией. Исследователи из Калифорнийского университета в Сан-Диего, разработавшие носимый ультразвуковой пластырь, рассказали на страницах журнала Nature Biomedical Engineering, что он хорошо зарекомендовал себя в тестах на более чем 100 пациентах.

Мягкий эластичный пластырь прилипает к коже и надевается на предплечье. Множество крошечных датчиков внутри него посылают и принимают ультразвуковые волны, которые отслеживают изменения диаметра кровеносных сосудов. Затем эти изменения преобразуются в значения артериального давления.

Поддержание нормального артериального давления - 120/80 - помогает предотвратить многие заболевания, от болезней сердца и инсульта до проблем с почками, слабоумия и потери зрения, поэтому многие пациенты с высоким кровяным давлением используют манжету-измеритель для отслеживания его уровня.

«Традиционные измерения артериального давления с помощью манжеты, которые ограничиваются получением разовых значений артериального давления, могут не учитывать критические закономерности», - рассказал соавтор исследования Сай Чжоу, недавно получивший докторскую степень в Калифорнийском университете.

«Наш носимый пластырь обеспечивает непрерывный поток данных о форме колебаний артериального давления, что позволяет выявить подробные тенденции в колебаниях артериального давления», добавил ученый.
