«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Ոմանք զարմանում են, թե ինչու ԱԱԾ պետ Գորիկ Հակոբյանին չեն ուղարկում թոշակի՝ ի վերջո, մարդը 70 տարեկան է, վատառողջ է։ Տարիքի, թե այլ պատճառներով հաճախ է «կիքսեր» թողնում։ Ընդամենը վերջերս կառավարության նիստի ժամանակ նա մեր հարեւան վրացիների մասին այնպիսի մի արտահայտություն էր արել, որ նիստից հետո կառավարամերձ շրջանակներից զանգում էին խմբագիրներին ու համոզում այդ արտահայտությունը հանել կայքերից, որ հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները չփչանան։

Այսինքն՝ մարդը 1970 թվից սովետական ՊԱԿ-ի, ապա հետսովետական ԱԱԾ-ի աշխատակից է, 2004 թվից՝ ԱԱԾ տնօրեն, եւ վաստակած հանգստի գնալու ժամանակն է։ Եվ քանի որ նրա պաշտոնավարման ժամկետն արդեն մի անգամ՝ 2011-ին, Սերժ Սարգսյանը 5 տարով երկարացրել է, դժվար թե նորից երկարացվի, ուստի «փնտրվում» է ԱԱԾ տնօրինացու։

Ըստ որոշ լուրերի, խնդիրը ոչ այնքան վստահելի կադր չգտնելու մեջ է, որքան նրանում, որ, ինչպես պնդում են ԱԱԾ-ին մոտ կանգնածները, այդ պաշտոնը պահում են ԼՂՀ նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի համար, որը 2001-2007 թթ. եղել է ԼՂՀ ԱԱԾ պետ եւ նախագահի պաշտոնում իր առաքելության ավարտին պատրաստվում է տեղափոխվել Երեւան։

Սակայն խնդիրն այն է, որ ԼՂՀ նախագահի ընտրությունները կայանալու են 2017-ին, իսկ 2016-ի փետրվարի 16-ին լրանում է ՀՀ Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության պետ Գորիկ Հակոբյանի պաշտոնավարման ժամկետը։

Այսինքն, այժմ փնտրվում է պաշտոնի «տեղապահ», որը մեկ-մեկուկես տարով կզբաղեցնի այդ պոստը եւ այն սկուտեղի վրա կհանձնի Բակո Սահակյանին։ Ասում են, որ «տեղապահի» մի քանի հավակնորդներ կան․ ԱԱԾ տնօրենի տեղակալները՝ ՍԴ նախագահ Գագիկ Հարությունյանի եղբայրը՝ ԱԱԾ տնօրենի տեղակալ Արզուման Հարությունյանը, եւ Գորիկ Հակոբյանի առաջին տեղակալ Հրանտ Եպիսկոպոսյանը»:
