Ադրբեջանում Միացյալ Նահանգների դեսպան Մարկ Լիբբին օրերս հայտարարել էր, որ Երևանն ու Բաքուն՝ Վաշինգտոնի ակտիվ աջակցությամբ, աշխատում են անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման ինտեգրված սխեմայի ստեղծման ուղղությամբ: 

Բաքվում ԱՄՆ դեսպանի հայտարարության շուրջ պարզաբանումներ ստանալու համար «Արմենպրես»-ը հարցումներ էր ուղարկել Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի և շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարություններ։ 

ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարությունից հայտնել են, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրերի կառավարման ոլորտում պաշտոնական համագործակցություն չկա։ 

«Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրերի կառավարման ոլորտում պաշտոնական համագործակցություն առկա չէ»,-նշել են շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարությունից՝ միաժամանակ հավելելով, որ  ԱՄՆ ՄԶԳ-ի (Միջազգային զարգացման գործակալություն) կողմից ֆինանսավորվող «Հայաստանում ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման բարելավում» ծրագրի շրջանակներում մշակվում է Հարավային ջրավազանային կառավարման տարածքի 2025-2030 թվականների պլանը և գետերի ծանրաբեռնվածության հաշվարկման գործիքը։  

«Արդիականացման ընթացքում է Ախուրյան գետի վրա գտնվող 2 հիդրոլոգիական դիտակետ, նախատեսվում է արդիականացնել նաև Արաքս-Սուրմալու հիդրոլոգիական դիտակետը››,-եզրափակել են նախարարությունից: 

ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը ևս շեշտել է, որ անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրերի կառավարման ոլորտում Ադրբեջանի հետ պաշտոնական համագործակցություն առկա չէ, միևնույն ժամանակ հայտնել, որ իր տեղեկություններով թեմայի շուրջ շփումներ տեղի են ունեցել երկու պետությունների հասարակական կազմակերպությունների միջև։

«Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրերի կառավարման ոլորտում պաշտոնական համագործակցություն առկա չէ: Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը իրականացնում է միջազգային և տարածաշրջանային համագործակցություն շրջակա միջավայրի պաշտպանության, այդ թվում՝ ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման ոլորտում շահագրգիռ երկրների հետ, որոնք հանձնառու են բարեխիղճ ու կառուցողական կերպով իրագործելու միջազգային իրավունքից, այդ թվում՝ բնապահպանական կոնվենցիաներից բխող իրենց պարտավորությունները: Մասնավորապես, Հայաստանն արդյունավետ կերպով համագործակցում է հարևան Վրաստանի, Իրանի, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիայի հետ անդրսահմանային ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման ոլորտում: Միաժամանակ տեղեկացնում ենք, որ ԱԳ նախարարության տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ թեմայի շուրջ շփումներ տեղի են ունեցել երկու պետությունների հասարակական կազմակերպությունների միջև», - նշված է ԱԳՆ-ի պատասխանում: 

Ադրբեջանում Միացյալ Նահանգների դեսպան Մարկ Լիբբին Բաքվում կայացած COP-29 համաժողովի ժամանակ  հայտարարել էր, որ Երևանն ու Բաքուն՝ Վաշինգտոնի ակտիվ աջակցությամբ, աշխատում են անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման ինտեգրված սխեմայի ստեղծման ուղղությամբ:

«Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի հիդրոլոգների և ինժեներների մի խումբ՝ ԱՄՆ-ի ակտիվ աջակցությամբ, աշխատում է անդրսահմանային գետերի ջրային ռեսուրսների կառավարման ինտեգրված սխեմայի վրա», - ասել էր Լիբբին։
