Գերմանիայի նախկին կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելին ջերմ են դիմավորել Ռուսաստանում, բայց հավանաբար, նա այնքան բաց չէր երկխոսության համար, որքան ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը, ասել է Կրեմլի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը Պավել Զարուբինին տված հարցազրույցում։
Գերմանիայի նախկին կանցլերի՝ «Ազատություն» հուշագրությունը վաճառքի է հանվել երեքշաբթի օրը: Այն միաժամանակ թողարկվել է աշխարհի 31 երկրներում, այդ թվում՝ Ռուսաստանում և Չինաստանում։ Իր հուշերում, մասնավորապես, Մերկելը նշել է, որ բանակցությունների ժամանակ Պուտինի Լաբրադոր Քոնիի հայտնվելու դրվագը համարում է ուժի ցուցադրություն, քանի որ Գերմանիայի կանցլերը վախենում էր շներից։
«Երբ Եվրոպայում հասարակական տրանսպորտով մարդիկ ամբողջովին ազատ են ճանապարհորդում շների հետ, իսկ շներին թույլ են տալիս ավտոբուսում նստել, շների հետ գնում են ռեստորաններ, հանկարծ, եթե սա Պուտինի շունն է, ապա սա ուժի ցուցադրություն է։ Նման խոսքերից կարելի է միայն շփոթվել, որովհետև Պուտինն իսկապես ջերմորեն ողջունեց նրան, ցուցաբերեց առավելագույն հյուրասիրություն, բայց հավանաբար, Մերկելն այնքան էլ բաց չէր երկխոսության համար», - ասել է Պեսկովը։
