Չերչիլն իսկապե՞ս հայկական կոնյակ էր սիրում

Չերչիլն իսկապես կոնյակի սիրահար էր: Չերչիլների միջազգային ընկերության կայքը նույնիսկ թվարկում է խմիչքի այն ապրանքանիշը, որը նա նախընտրում էր մյուսներից՝ ֆրանսիական Hine-ը:
Ինչ վերաբերում է հայկական կոնյակին, նա անպայման խմել է նման կոնյակ. դրա վերաբերյալ բազմաթիվ ապացույցներ կան, գրում է BBC-ն։
Օրինակ՝ 1943 թվականից ավիացիայի մարշալ, խորհրդային զորապետ Ալեքսանդր Գոլովանովի հուշերում 1942 թվականի օգոստոսին Ստալինի և Չերչիլի հանդիպման մասին պատմություն կա։
Ինչպես գրում է Գոլովանովը, Չերչիլը ժամանակ չկորցրեց սեղանի շուրջ և ժողովրդական կոմիսարների խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Կլիմենտ Վորոշիլովի հետ միասին վարչապետը պղպեղի օղի խմեց, իսկ հետո անցավ կոնյակի: Հետազոտելով պիտակը, նա լցրեց Ստալինի գավաթը։ Ի պատասխան՝ Ստալինը նույն կոնյակը լցրեց Չերչիլի համար։ Կենացները հաջորդում էին մեկը մյուսի հետևից։ Ստալինն ու Չերչիլը հավասարապես խմել են»։
«Մինչդեռ ես տեսա հայկական կոնյակի շիշը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետի ձեռքում։ Հետազոտելով պիտակը, նա լցրեց Ստալինի գավաթը։ Ի պատասխան՝ Ստալինը նույն կոնյակը լցրեց Չերչիլի համար։ Կենացները հաջորդում էին մեկը մյուսին։ Ստալինն ու Չերչիլը հավասարապես խմել են»։
Ընդսմին, դժվար թե քաղաքական գործիչը կոնյակի կանոնավոր մատակարարումներ է ունեցել ԽՍՀՄ-ից, հատկապես Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ավարտից և սառը պատերազմի սկզբից ի վեր։
«Հայկական սնունդ. փաստ, գեղարվեստական և բանահյուսություն» գրքի հեղինակներ Իրինա Պետրոսյանը և Դեյվիդ Անդերվուդը փորձել են արխիվային աղբյուրներում գոնե որոշ տեղեկություններ գտնել Չերչիլին հայկական կոնյակի մատակարարման մասին, սակայն չեն կարողացել և եկել այն եզրակացության, որ այս պատմությունը. երևակայության արգասիք է։
