Վրաստանի նախագահ Սալոմե Զուրաբիշվիլին  երկրի Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում բացատրել է խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների  արդյունքների կեղծման մասին իր խոսքում «հայկական կարուսել» արտահայտության կիրառումը, գրում է ekhokavkaza.com-ը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ նախագահն արտահայտությունն օգտագործել էր Associated Press-ի հետ զրույցում, և դա սկանդալ էր առաջացրել։

«Ուզում եմ ասել ազգությամբ հայերին (Վրաստանի քաղաքացիների) և հայերին, որոնք ապրում են Հայաստանում, որտեղ նույնպես ակտիվ է ռուսական քարոզչությունը։  «Հայկական կարուսել»-ը որևէ էթնիկ երանգավորում չուներ»,- նշել է Զուրաբիշվիլին։

Վրաստանի ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ ինքն առաջին անգամ լսել է այս արտահայտությունը, երբ Էդուարդ Շևարդնաձեի օրոք վերադարձել է Վրաստան։ Կեղծիքի նույն մեթոդը, ըստ նրա, կիրառվել է նաև նախկին նախագահ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիի օրոք։

«Եթե չեմ սխալվում, Հայաստանում դա անվանում են «վրացական կարուսել»: Սրանում  ընդհանրապես էթնիկ պատկանելություն հարց չկա»,- հավելել է նա:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Վրաստանի նախագահ Սալոմե Զուրաբիշվիլին երկրի իշխանություններին՝ «Վրացական երազանք» կուսակցությանը, մեղադրել է, հոկտեմբերի 26-ին կայացած խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքները կեղծելու նպատակով, ռուսական մեթոդներ, մասնավորապես, այսպես կոչված, «հայկական կարուսել» մեխանիզմը կիրառելու համար: Նա այս մասին ասել է Associated Press-ին տված հարցազրույցում:

Նրա պնդմամբ՝ կազմակերպվել է կեղծման չափազանց կատարելագործված մեխնաիզմ, որը ներառել է թե՛ «սովորական», թե՛ արտառոց մեթոդներ, այդ թվում՝ տեխնոլոգիաների, սարքերի կիրառմամբ:

«(Տեխնոլոգիաների կիրառման համատեքստում) օգտագործվել է, այսպես կոչված, «հայկական կարուսելը»: Մենք դա անվանում ենք «հայկական կարուսել»: Չգիտեմ՝ արդյոք նրանք էլ (Հայաստան-Խմբ.) դա անվանում են «վրացական կարուսել»։ Դա նշանակում է, որ ընտրություններից որոշ ժամանակ առաջ (իշխանությունները) սոցիալապես անապահով անձանցից, կալանավորների ընտանիքներից տարբեր պատրվակներով վերցնում են անձը հաստատող փաստաթղթերը, և ոչ մեկ չէր հասկանում՝ ինչու էին նրանք դա անում, արդյոք դա ճնշո՞ւմ էր: Իրականում դրանք օգտագործվել են, որպեսզի նույն անձը գնա և նույն ID քարտով քվեարկի՝ որոշ դեպքերում մինչև 17 անգամ... Նրանց (իշխանությունների) ձեռքում հայտնվել էին մեծ քանակությամբ անձը հաստատող փաստաթղթեր»,- ասել է Վրաստանի նախագահը:
