Դոհայում տեղի է ունեցել Սիրիայի հարցով Աստանայի ձևաչափի արտգործնախարարների հանդիպումը: Ռուսաստանի, Թուրքիայի և Իրանի արտգործնախարարներ Սերգեյ Լավրովը, Հաքան Ֆիդանը և Աբբաս Արաղչին բանակցություններ են վարել փակ ձևաչափով:
Դոհայի ֆորումի շրջանակում Լավրովը հայտարարել է, որ Աստանայի ձևաչափի մասնակիցները հաստատել են հավատարմությունը Սիրիայի ինքնիշխանությանը և տարածքային ամբողջականությանը, կառավարության և օրինական ընդդիմության միջև երկխոսության կոչ են արել:
Նա նշել է, որ Ռուսաստանը կաշխատի Սիրիայի կառավարության և օրինական ընդդիմության հետ՝ խրախուսելով նրանց նստել բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ: Նրա խոսքով՝ այս պահին գլխավոր խնդիրը ռազմական գործողությունների դադարեցումն է: Միևնույն ժամանակ, Լավրովի խոսքով՝ Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է ռազմական աջակցություն ցուցաբերել Սիրիային:
Լավրովը նաև հավաստիցարել է, որ Մոսկվան կնպաստի Թուրքիայի և Սիրիայի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանը։
