ArmLur.am-ի տեղեկություններով՝ Վիգեն Շահվերդյանին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել այն բանի համար, որ նա որպես զավակ, հանդիսանալով Մարգարիտ Շահվերդյանի մերձավոր ազգականը, 2024 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 06-ին՝ ժամը 09:00-ի սահմաններում, Արարատի մարզի Սուրենավան բնակավայրի Բարեկամության 29 հասցեում գտնվող իրենց տան բակում կենցաղային՝ հոսանքի երկարացման լարը վնասելու հարցի շուրջ ծագած վիճաբանության ժամանակ, ֆիզիկական ներգործության է ենթարկել մորը՝ Մարգարիտ Շահվերդյանին, այն է հոսանքի երկարացման լարի վրա առկա եռաբաշխիչով հարվածել է Մարգարիտ Շահվերդյանի ձախ ձեռքին ու դիտավությամբ ձախ նախաբազկի, ձախ դաստակի մեկական քերծվածքների ձևով նրա առողջությանը պատճառել է թեթև վնասի հատկանիշներ չպարունակող մարմնական վնասվածքներ։

Բացի այդ, երբ Վիգեն Շահվերդյանի արաքը նկատել է վերջինիս հայրը՝ Սուրեն Դավթի Շահվերդյանը և փորձել է միջամտել, Վիգեն Շահվերդյանը, որպես զավակ հանդիսանալով Սուրեն Շահվերդյանի մերձավոր ազգականը, նրան ևս ֆիզիկական ներգործության է ենթարկել, այն է՝ ձեռքում եղած նույն հոսանքի երկարացման լարի վրա առկա եռաբաշխիչով 2 անգամ հարվածել է Սուրեն Շահվերդյանի դեմքին ու դիտավորությամբ գլխի աջ կողմնային շրջանի, քթի, մեջքի մեկական քերծվածքների ձևով նրա առողջությանը պատճառել թեթև վնասի հատկանիշներ չպարունակող մարմնական վնասվածքներ։
