Սիրիայում օրեցօր խորանում է ճգնաժամը։ Այնտեղ որպես ազգային փոքրամասնություն ներկայացնող հայ համայնքը՝ մյուս բնիկների հետ հավասարը հավասարին սկզբունքով լծված են իրենց իրավունքների պաշտպանության վերականգնման, երկիրը հումանիտար ու անվտանգային աղետից փրկելու գործընթացին։ Հակառակ նրան, որ Թեմի առաջնորդը հորդորել է դուրս չգալ տներից։

«Մենք չենք կարող ամբողջ օրը լռել ու նստել, կամ տեսնել մեր փոխարեն ի՞նչ ճակատագիր են գծում մեզ համար։ Մենք սիրիացի ենք ու հավասար իրավունքներ ունենք տեղի արաբների ու քրդերի պես։ Մեր ուզածն այս պահին ընդամենը մի բան է․ անվտանգության երաշխիքներ ստեղծեն, որ տեղափոխվենք Հայաստան։ Այս պահին դեռ համատարած թալան է լքված տներից, բանկերից, խանութներից ու նախագահական պալատից»,-MediaHub-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Դամասկոսում ապրող Շուշի Մկրտիչյանը։ 

Իշխանափոխությունից հետո Սիրիայում ամեն բան դեռ նոր է սկսվում։ Իսրայելը շարունակաբար հարվածներ է հասցնում Գոլանի բարձունքներին։ Վարչապետ Նեթանյահուն հայտարարել է, որ ուզում են Գոլանի ստորոտներից դիրքավորվել  բարձունքներում։ 

«Այս պահին ներքաղաքական, աշխարհաքաղաքական, միջէթնիկ, քաոս է մեզ մոտ։ Եվ միակ բանը որ ուզում է տեղի հայկական համայնքը՝ այս կեղտոտ երկիրը լքելն է։ Հոգնել ենք արդեն այս ամենից։ Պայքարելու ուժ չունենք»,-ասաց Շուշին։ 

Նրա խոսքով՝ Արցախի կորստի գինն այնքան ծանր է, որի համար վճարում են ոչ միայն հայերը։ Երրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը մեկնարկել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից՝ Իսրայելի ու Թուրքիայի աջակցությամբ Արցախի ժողովրդի դեմ իրականացված էթնիկ զտման դեպքերով, հայկական Արցախի հանձնումով։  

«Եթե լիներ հայկական Արցախը, այսօր ողջ կլինեին մեր դաշնակից Իրանի բոլոր ժամանակների ամենասկզբունքային առաջնորդ Ռաիսին ու արտգործնախարար Աբդոլահիանը։ Մենք մեր հույսը դրել ենք Իրանի վրա, բայց արի ու տես, որ Իրանի նոր կառավարության կողմից գործնական որևէ քայլ առ այսօր չկա, իսկ Սիրիայի, Լիբանանի ու Գազայի ժողովուրդը կանգնած է ոչ պակաս էթնիկ զտման վտանգի առաջ»,-հավելեց մեր զրուցակիցը։
