Սիրիայում տեղի ունեցավ իշխանափոխություն, սակայն դա շատ հեռու էր զուտ ներքաղաղաքական իրադարձություն լինելուց:

«Ես վստահ չեմ, որ Սիրիայում, ռազմաքաղաքական առումով, իրադրությունը վերջնական հանգուցալուծվել է:
Նախ, մինչ Սիրիայի որոշ խմբեր, ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություններ, դրանց հետևում կանգնած ուժեր հաղթանակ են տոնում, Իսրայելը Սիրիայի տարածքային ամբողջականության հաշվին ընդլայնում է իր վերահսկողության գոտին:
Մյուս կողմից, ինչպե՞ս պաշտպանել Սիրիայի տարածքային պաշտպանությունը, երբ նույն Իսրայելը սիրիական բանակի գրեթե ողջ ռազմական ռեսուրսը ոչնչացրեց` նավատորմից մինչև ավիացիա ու ՀՕՊ:
Ինչպես շատ դեպքերում է լինում, Սիրիայում տեղի ունեցավ իշխանափոխություն, սակայն դա շատ հեռու էր զուտ ներքաղաղաքական իրադարձություն լինելուց, դեռ չեմ խոսում այն մասին, որ այս պահին էլ ռեգիոնալ, միջազգային կենտրոնների մի մասը փորձում է ամրապնդել ձեռք բերվածը, իսկ մյուս մասն արդեն պատրաստվում է ռևանշի կամ նվազագույնն իրադրության վերջնական հանգուցալուծմանը խոչընդոտելուն:
Հայաստանում էլ 2018 թվականին իշխանության եկող ուժերն ու դրանց արտաքին հովանավորյալները դաշտ մտան ինքնիշխանության և երկրի տարածքային ամբողջականության պահպանության խրոխտ կարգախոսներով, տեղի ունեցած իշխանափոխությունը հռչակեցին պատմական հաղթանակ, իսկ այդ ամենից 2 տարի անց Հայաստանն ու Արցախը դաժան պատերազմ ստացան, դրան հաջորդող տարիներին ՀՀ ինքնիշխան տարածքի մի կարևոր հատված օկուպացվեց, Արցախն ադրբեջանացվեց, դեռ չեմ խոսում հազարավոր զոհերի, վիրավորների և բռնի տեղահանվածների մասին»,- գրել է նա:
