Արթուր Սարգսյանը Մնացական Հարությունյանի կողմից մեքենան արագ վարելու հարցի շուրջ ունեցել է տարաձայնություն։
Սարգսյանը հայհոյել է Հարությունյանին ու ստացել պատասխան հայհոյանք։ Արդյունքում, Արթուր Սարգսյանը իր հասցեին հնչած հայհոյանքը ընդունել է հիվանդագին ու դիմել է ծայրահեղ միջոցի՝ ապօրինաբար կյանքից զրկել Մնացական Հարությունյանին:
Հանցավոր դիտավորությունն իրագործելու նպատակով նա 2024 թվականի օգոստոսի 29-ին՝ երեկոյան ժամերից գտնվել է Մնացական Հարությունյանի բնակության վայրի հարակից տարածքում և դարանակալած սպասել նրան: Այդ ընթացքում, ժամը 23:50-ի սահմաններում, Մնացական Հարությունյանն իրեն պատկանող «Վազ-2115» մակնիշի, 36 UQ 127 հաշվառման համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայով այցելել է իր՝ Արարատի մարզի Վեդի համայնքի Այգավան բնակավայրի Մակուի փողոցի 15-րդ հասցեում գտնվող բնակության վայր։
Այնուհետև, Արթուր Արթուրի Սարգսյանն իր հանցավոր մտադրությունն ի վերջո ավարտին հասցնելու նպատակով, դուրս է եկել դարանակալած վայրից և անմիջապես Մնացական Հարությունյանի տան դիմաց՝ առանձին դաժանությամբ դանակով բազմաթիվ հարվածներ է հասցրել վերջինիս՝ մինչև տուժողի մահը վրա հասնելը։ Սարգսյանը իր հետ նախապես վերցրած դանակով հարվածներ է հասցրել Մնացական Հարությունյանի մարմնի կենսական կարևոր ֆունկցիաներ իրականացնող հատվածներին, պատճառելով՝ ընդհանուր թվով 25 մարմնական վնասվածքներ, ինչից Մնացականյանը մահացել է։
