1․ Նվերների շուրջ ավելի երկար մտածեք։ Պետք չէ գնել անպետք ու աննպատակ իրեր զուտ տուփը լցնելու համար, պետք չէ նաև նվիրել այն, ինչը վստահ չեք, որ դուր կգա։ Հիշեք պատասխանատու սպառման ու մինիմալիզմի մասին, ու միշտ վարվեք այնպես, որ ձեր նվերի մասին չասեն՝ «հիմա ես սա ու՞ր դնեմ»։ Ավելի լավ է նվիրել մեկ փոքր ու արժեքավոր իր, քան տասը կտորից բաղկացած փառահեղ-գունավոր տուփեր, որոնց պարունակության կեսը զարդարանք է ու երբեք պետք չի գալու։

2․ Մի՛ գնեք անհարմար, թանկ ու ճոխ շորեր տոնական օրերի համար։ Կամ էլ՝ գնեք, բայց դրանք մի կրեք նրբաբլիթներ ու տոլմա տաքացնել-թարմացնելու անվերջ շրջապտույտի ընթացքում։ Դրանք թողեք կորպորատիվների ընթացքում գործընկերներին ապշահար անելու համար։ Իսկ տնային հողաթափերը փայլուն թեփուկավոր հագուստի հետ հաստատ չեն համադրվում։
