Այս մասին Առաջին ալիքի «Շաբաթվա սպորտ» հաղորդմանը հայտնել է Հայաստանի հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանը:
«Նա ասաց՝ ես հիմա համոզված եմ, որ ծանր քաշերը գտնվում են լավագույն ձեռքերում, ուժեղագույնի ձեռքերում, և նա պետք է հաղթի ինչպես, որ ես եմ արել»,- հայտնել է Ալավերդյանը:
Ինչպես ավելի վաղ հայտնել էինք, Վարազդատ Լալայանը երկամարտի 467 կգ արդյունքով (215+252 կգ) գերծանր քաշայինների պայքարում կարիերայում առաջին անգամ արժանացել է աշխարհի չեմպիոնի կոչմանը:
