Из-за сильного снегопада в Боснии и Герцеговине тысячи домов остались без электричества

В результате сильного снегопада во вторник тысячи домов в Боснии и Герцеговине остались без электричества, дороги были заблокированы, движение транспорта нарушено, а доступ в некоторые города и села полностью заблокирован, сообщает Reuters.
Власти запретили движение большегрузных автомобилей по основным дорогам и призвали граждан избегать поездок, предупредив, что опасность представляют поваленные деревья и автомобили без надлежащего зимнего оборудования. Высота сугробов в некоторых районах достигала 2 м.
Две энергетические компании Боснии сообщили, что более 170 000 домохозяйств, в основном в северной и западной частях балканской страны, остались без электричества из-за обрывов линий электропередач, что повлияло на отопление и водоснабжение.
Железнодорожное сообщение было остановлено, а школы и детские сады закрыты во многих районах из-за недоступных дорог и перебоев с электричеством.
Северо-западный город Дрвар оказался полностью отрезан от внешнего мира во вторник, по словам председателя муниципального совета города Ясны Печанац. В понедельник вечером десятки автомобилей застряли в снегу на несколько часов, и путешественники были спасены в ранние часы во вторник.
