В Индии из-за смерти экс-премьера Манмохана Сингха объявили семидневный траур

Власти Индии приняли решение объявить семидневный траур в связи со смертью бывшего премьер-министра страны Манмохана Сингха. Об этом сообщило МВД южноазиатской республики.
«В знак уважения к покойному высокопоставленному лицу по всей Индии с 26.12.2024 по 01.01.2025 включительно будет соблюдаться семидневный государственный траур. В течение этого периода национальный флаг будет приспущен по всей Индии, не будет проводиться никаких официальных развлекательных мероприятий», - сообщило ведомство.
Власти также приняли решение провести похороны на государственном уровне. Ожидается, что они состоятся 28 декабря. «Национальный флаг также будет приспущен в день похорон во всех индийских посольствах за рубежом», - указали в ведомстве.
Манмохан Сингх умер 26 декабря в возрасте 92 лет в отделении неотложной медицинской помощи, куда он был доставлен из дома без сознания. Как указали врачи, Сингх страдал от ряда характерных для пожилых людей заболеваний. Несмотря на все усилия врачей, реанимировать его не удалось.
