Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը գրում է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Ավարտին է մոտենում 2024 թվականը։ 2020 թվի աղետաբեր պատերազմից ի վեր, յուրաքանչյուր տարեմուտին մենք ոչ միայն ամփոփում ենք մեր ձեռքբերումները, այլև ցավով արձանագրում ենք մեր հերթական կորուստները՝ տարածքներ, սրբավայրեր ու բնակավայրեր, մարդկային կյանքեր, հույս ու հավատ։ Ցավոք, այս արատավոր շրջանից մենք դեռ դուրս չենք եկել, թեև ամեն կերպ փորձել ենք կանգնեցնել այն հրեշավոր մեքենան, որը շարունակ նոր կորուստներ է բերում մեր երկրին։

Մենք հայտնվել ենք աշխարհաքաղաքական մեծ բախման հորձանուտում, որտեղ առանձին վերցված երկրի շահերը երկրորդական են, փոխարենը որոշիչ են հիմնական ուժային կենտրոնների անզիջում մրցակցությունը և ռազմավարական հավակնությունները։ Այս կռվին մենք լավ պատրաստ չէինք՝ առաջին հերթին մտովի, չէինք գիտակցում նրա իրական մասշտաբները, անողոք ու հաճախ էլ խաբուսիկ բնույթը։

Շարունակելով ապրել մեր առօրյա կյանքով և կենտրոնանալով մեր ներքին խնդիրների վրա, մենք չնկատեցինք, ինչպես մեր երկիրը հայտնվեց այդ ուժային կենտրոններից առվել թշնամաբար տրամադրվածի՝ Թուրքիայից ուղիղ կախվածության ներքո, ինչպես մենք արդյունքում կորցրեցինք 30 տարի յուրաքանչյուրիս արյունով և քրտինքով պահած Արցախը, ինչպես են հիմա էլ նոր սպառնալիքներ կախվել արդեն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և իր քաղաքացիների գլխին։

Ամանորը մեզ համար լուսավոր տոն է, և այս օրերին ընդունված չէ խոսել դժվարությունների մասին։ Այն նաև հույսի շող է մեր կյանքում՝ դրական զարգացումների, կյանքում նոր հնարավորությունների, նոր բացվող դռների ակնկալիքով։ Այժմ էլ, Ամանորից առաջ, մեր սրտները լի են լույսի, սիրո և բարու սպասումով։ Սակայն եկող նոր տարին ոչ միայն նոր բարիքներ, այլև նոր փորձություններ է խոստանում, դրա նախանշանները ի հայտ եկան անցնող տարվա վերջում։ Ուստի եթե մենք ցանկանում ենք պահպանել այն, ինչ թանկ է մեզ համար՝ մեր երկիրը, մեր արժեքները, մեր հարազատներին ու մտերիմներին, պետք է պատրաստվենք արժանավույնս դիմագրավելու այդ փորձություններին, ետ մղելու մեր երկրի վրա աչք դրած թշնամիներին, և վերահաստատելու ազատ ու արժանապատիվ ապրելու մեր բնատուր իրավունքը:

Այդ իմաստով, հաջորդ տարին մեր համար հսկայական աշխատանքի և պատասխանատվության տարի է լինելու։ Հավատում եմ, որ մեր երկիրը դուրս է գալու այս արատավոր շրջանից, բայց դա տեղի կունենա, եթե մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը իր մեջ ուժ գտնի՝ շարունակ սովորելու, գործով գերազանցության հասնելու, իրար հետ եղբայրաբար համագործակցելու, և դրանով մեր երկիրը ամրացնելու ու շենացնելու համար։ Շնորհակալ եմ բոլոր նրանց, ում հետ արդեն մենք անցնում ենք մեզ բաժին ընկած դժվարին ճանապարհը, ում հետ ամրացնում ու շենացնում ենք մեր երկիրը, ում հետ կերտում ենք նրա ազատ և արժանապատիվ ապագան՝ դուք ինձ հույս եք տալիս, որ միասին մենք կհաղթենք: 

Շնորհավոր բոլորիս Ամանորը, և լավագույն մաղթանքները ձեզ և ձեր ընտանիքներին՝ մոտեցող Նոր տարում»։
