ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը կարծում է, որ իր վարչակազմի չորս տարիների ընթացքում Վաշինգտոնն ամրապնդել է իր դիրքերը համաշխարհային հարթակում, մինչդեռ նրա հակառակորդները, ընդհակառակը, թուլացել են։
Այս մասին նա ասել է երկուշաբթի՝ հունվարի 13-ին ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտում ունեցած ելույթում, հայտնում է «Європейська правда»-ն։
Բայդենն ասել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները «շրջադարձային կետում է»:
«Սառը պատերազմից հետո ընկած դարաշրջանն ավարտվել է, սկսվել է նոր դարաշրջան: Եվ այս չորս տարիների ընթացքում մենք բախվել ենք ճգնաժամերի, փորձության ենք ենթարկվել, և այդ փորձություններից, իմ կարծիքով, մենք դուրս ենք եկել ավելի ուժեղ, քան նախկինում»,- հայտարարել է նա։
Ի թիվս այլ բաների, ամերիկացի նախագահը նշել է համաշխարհային տնտեսական մրցակցությունը, որում, նրա համոզմամբ, «իմ վարչակազմի շնորհիվ ԱՄՆ-ը հաղթում է»։
«Չորս տարի առաջվա համեմատ Ամերիկան ավելի ուժեղ է, մեր դաշինքներն ավելի ուժեղ են, մեր թշնամիներն ու մրցակիցներն ավելի թույլ են, և մենք այնտեղ չենք հասել պատերազմի միջոցով»,- ասել է Բայդենը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ ինքը միակ ամերիկացի գլխավոր հրամանատարն է, ով այցելել է պատերազմող երկիր՝ առանց ԱՄՆ ռազմական ներկայության: Նա նաև նշել է, որ Պուտինը կարծում էր, որ 3 օրում կգրավի Կիևը, սակայն դրանից հետո Կիևի կենտրոնում Բայդենն էր, ոչ թե ինքը։
«Պուտինը չկարողացավ ոչնչացնել Ուկրաինան, նա չկարողացավ ոչնչացնել ՆԱՏՕ-ն, նա չկարողացավ գրավել տարածքի զգալի մասը: Մենք միավորեցինք 50 երկիր՝ ի պաշտպանություն Ուկրաինայի, մենք տրամադրեցինք արտառոց զինամթերք, իրականացրինք աննախադեպ պատժամիջոցներ, որպեսզի Ուկրաինան շարունակի պայքարը»,- նշել է նա։
