«Հայաստանի կառավարությունը պետք է լուծի իր խնդիրները հարևան երկրների հետ, այլ ոչ թե աջակցության համար դիմի ԵՄ-ին և ԱՄՆ-ին»։
Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը 2024 թվականին ռուսական դիվանագիտության արդյունքներին նվիրված մամուլի ասուլիսում։
«Մենք անխուսափելիորեն կգանք նրան, ինչի մասին հիմա խոսում են Ռուսաստանը, Ադրբեջանը, Թուրքիան, Իրանը, այն է՝ տարածաշրջանի երկրները պետք է լուծեն իրենց խնդիրները իրենց անմիջական հարեւանների հետ»,- ասել է նա՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե ինչպե՞ս կարող է Հայաստանի մերձեցումն Արևմուտքի հետ ազդել տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության վրա:
Նախարարը հավելել է, որ որևէ խնդիր չի տեսնում արևմտյան երկրների և ԵՄ-ի հետ Հայաստանի շփումների առումով։
«Բայց երբ երկրները, որոնք հեռու են մեր տարածքից, ավանդույթներից և պատմության ոչ գաղութատիրական հարթությունում պատկերացումներից, հայտարարում են, որ ԵՄ առաքելությունը կապահովի անվտանգությունը Սյունիքի մարզում, օրինակ՝ ես դա իրականում չեմ հասկանում»,- ամփոփել է Լավրովը։
