Հունվարի 17-ին, մի խումբ երիտասարդներ ՄԱԿ-ի գրասենյակ են փոխանցել «Վրաստանի հայ համայնք» հկ-ի նախագահ Արթուր Միրզոյանի նամակը Հարավային Կովկասում ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավունքների գերագույն հանձնակատարի գլխավոր խորհրդական Վլադիմիր Շկոլնիկովի անունով։ Նամակին կցված են «Ադրբեջանի ցեղասպան քաղաքականությունը հայերի նկատմամբ 1918-2023» (վրացերեն լեզվով) և «AZERBAIJAN'S GENOCIDAL POLICY AGAINST ARMENIANS 1918-2023» (անգլերեն թարգմանությունը) գրքերը, որտեղ հակիրճ նկարագրված են անցած դարում Ադրբեջանի կողմից հայերի դեմ իրականացված կոտորածները և ջարդերը։ Երիտասարդները շենքի դիմաց բացել էին նաև Բաքվում ապօրինի կալանավորվածներին աջակցող պաստառ և Արցախի դրոշը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ այս օրերին Բաքվում լրանում է հայերի կոտորածի, էթնիկ զտումների և զանգվածային տեղահանման 35-րդ տարելիցը: Մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում ադրբեջանական կազմակերպված խմբերը՝ գործելով լիակատար անպատժելիության մթնոլորտում, ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների ջանքերով և աջակցությամբ, ինչպես նաև խորհրդային իշխանությունների լիակատար անգործության ֆոնին, բազմաթիվ սարսափելի հանցանքներ են գործել հայերի դեմ: Հայերի բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը ստիպված է եղել լքել իրենց տները, չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ հայ համայնքը 19-րդ դարի կեսերից կարևոր ներդրում է ունեցել Բաքվի արդյունաբերական քաղաքի կառուցման և զարգացման գործում:

Հայ ընտանիքները և անհատները հիմնադրել, սեփականություն են ունեցել և ղեկավարում էին մեծ արդյունաբերական ձեռնարկություններ, մշակութային և կրթական հաստատություններ։ Ջարդերի ժամանակ Բաքվի հայերը թողել են միլիարդավոր դոլարներ արժողությամբ գույք, ինչից հետո զրկվել են վնասի փոխհատուցման հնարավորությունից։ 1990 թվականի հունվարին Բաքվում հայկական բնակչության ջարդերին, որի նպատակն էր բռնի կերպով վտարել երբեմնի 250 000-անոց հայ համայնքից մնացած սակավաթիվ ներկայացուցիչներին, նախորդել է Ադրբեջանի Սումգայիթ և Կիրովաբադ (ներկայիս Գանջա) քաղաքների լայնածավալ կոտորածները։

1980-ականների վերջին և 1990-ականների սկզբին Ադրբեջանում տեղի ունեցած հայերի ջարդերի հետևանքով շուրջ 400 000 հայեր արտաքսվեցին երկրից։ Բացի այդ, Ադրբեջանի քաղաքներում հազարավոր հայկական հետքեր են ոչնչացվել, նրանց հարուստ պատմությունն ու ժառանգությունը կեղծվել: Այդ հարձակումները կատարվել են ի պատասխան Ղարաբաղի ինքնավար շրջանի հայերի օրինական պահանջների՝ միավորվել Հայաստանի հետ։

2025 թվականի հունվարի 17-ին, նույն Բաքվում սկսվել է 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբեր-հոկտեմբերին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի Հանրապետության դեմ իրականացված ագրեսիայի ժամանակ առևանգված տասնվեց հայերի դատավարությունը: Տասնվեց հայ գերիներից են Արցախի Հանրապետության նախկին պաշտոնյաները։ Այս «դատավարությունները» ընթանում են նույն հակահայկական մթնոլորտում, որն Ադրբեջանում տիրում է ավելի քան մեկ դար:

Միայն միջազգային դատապարտումն ու գործողությունները կարող են ճնշում գործադրել Ադրբեջանի վրա՝ դադարեցնելու նրա հակահայկական քաղաքականությունը և գործողությունները, որոնք վերջին տարիներին ներառել են նաև ագրեսիան Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դեմ։ Հենց այդ ուժի կիրառմամբ կամ ուժի կիրառման սպառնալիքի միջոցով է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը ստիպված զիջումների գնում Ադրբեջանի պահանջների առաջ։
