ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը գործարկել է իր սեփական կրիպտոարժույթը, որը ստացել է $TRUMP անվանումը՝ առաջացնելով գնումների ալիք, որը շաբաթ օրը դրա շուկայական կապիտալիզացիան հասցրեց միլիարդավոր դոլարների, հայտնում է AFP-ն։
Սոցցանցերում հրապարակված հաղորդագրության մեջ Թրամփը ներկայացրել է այսպես կոչված «memecoin»-ը, որը նախատեսված է որոշակի անձի, շարժման կամ վիրուսային ինտերնետի ժողովրդականությունը կապիտալացնելու համար: Memcoin-ները չունեն տնտեսական կամ գործարքային արժեք և հաճախ դիտվում են որպես սպեկուլյատիվ առևտրի միջոց:
Գիշերվա մեկնարկին հաջորդած ժամերի ընթացքում կրիպտո համայնքը հարցեր էր տալիս $TRUMP memecoin-ի օրինականության և ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահի հետ դրա իրական կապի մասին, ոմանք վախենում էին, որ դա խաբեություն է: Բայց այն փաստը, որ հայտարարությունները հայտնվեցին Թրամփի պաշտոնական սոցիալական մեդիա ալիքներում, թվում էր, թե հանգստացրել է շուկան, ինչպես նաև այն փաստը, որ Թրամփը նախկինում օգտագործել է նախագծի ետևում կանգնած ընկերություններից մեկին՝ CIC Digital LLC-ին, չփոխարինելի թոքեններ (NFTs) վաճառելու համար։
Շաբաթ օրվա կեսերին TRUMP memecoin-ի շուկայական կապիտալը կազմում էր գրեթե 6 միլիարդ դոլար: Ոչ Թրամփը, ոչ էլ գործարկումն իրականացնող ընկերությունը՝ Fight Fight Fight LLC-ն, մանրամասներ չեն ներկայացրել, թե որքան է նա վաստակել թողարկված memecoin-ների առաջին խմբաքանակից: Կրիպտոարժույթի պաշտոնական կայքում նշվում է, որ թողարկվել է 200 միլիոն memecoins, մինչդեռ Fight Fight-ը ասում է, որ առաջիկա երեք տարիների ընթացքում կավելացվի ևս 800 միլիոն: Ներկայիս փոխարժեքով, memecoin-ները, որոնք դեռ շուկայում չեն, կարժենային մոտ $24 միլիարդ:
