ԱՄՆ 47-րդ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն իր առաջին ելույթում խոստացել է անհապաղ դադարեցնել ապօրինի ներգաղթյալների մուտքը և սկսել միլիոնավոր ներգաղթյալների արտաքսման գործընթացը։
«ԱՄՆ տարածք ապօրինի բոլոր մուտքերն անհապաղ կդադարեցվեն, միլիոնավոր ներգաղթյալների վերադարձի գործընթաց․ նրանք կվերադառնան այնտեղ, որտեղից եկել են»,- ասել է նա։
Թրամփը խոստացել է՝ նախագահի պաշտոնում իր առաջին քայլը կլինի երկրում արտակարգ դրություն հայտարարել՝ կապված ԱՄՆ հարավային սահմանին ստեղծված իրավիճակի հետ։ ԱՄՆ 47-րդ նախագահը հայտարարել է, որ երկրի հարավային սահմանի պաշտպանության նպատակով մտադիր է օգտագործել անգամ Զինված ուժերը:
ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, ելույթ ունենալով երդմնակալության արարողության ժամանակ, անդրադարձել է նաև ԱՄՆ-ում ճգնաժամերի լուծման անհրաժեշտությանը։
«Մարդիկ կորցրել են ուժը, այն նրանցից խլել են, թվում է՝ ոչինչ հնարավոր չէ ուղղել․ ներկայիս կառավարությունը չի կարող լուծել երկրի ներսում առկա ճգնաժամը, միաժամանակ իրար հաջորդում են աղետները, մեր կառավարությունը չի ապահովում երկրի պաշտպանությունը, օրինապահ քաղաքացիների պաշտպանությունը, մենք տեսնում ենք ներգաղթյալների, որ ամբողջ աշխարհից գալիս են։ Կառավարությունը ֆինանսավորում է ամբողջ աշխարհի մակարդակով բոլոր երկրների սահմանների պաշտպանությունը, բայց չի պաշտպանում մեր երկրի սահմանները, չի պաշտպանում մեր ժողովրդին»,- ասել է նա։
Հավակնոտ տիեզերական ծրագրի իրականացման մտադրության մասին ևս խոսել է նախագահահը:
«ԱՄՆ-ն կրկին կդառնա հզորացող երկիր, ազգ, որը մեծացնում է իր հարստությունը, ընդլայնում է իր տարածքը, կառուցում է քաղաքներ, բարձրացնում է ակնկալիքների մակարդակը և մեր դրոշը տանում նոր հրաշալի հորիզոններ։ Մենք ամերիկացի տիեզերագնացներ կուղարկենք, որոնք ԱՄՆ դրոշը կտեղադրեն Մարսի վրա»,- ասել է նա:
