Праздник Святого Саргса в этом году будет отмечаться 15 февраля

В этом году день памяти святого Саргиса, заступника молодости, будет отмечаться 15 февраля. Об этом сообщает qahana.am.
По указанию Патриарха Всех Армян Гарегина II праздник Святого Саргиса был объявлен днем благословения молодежи.
Этот праздник отмечается не только церковными обрядами, но и народными обычаями. Святой Саргис – заступник молодежи. В этот день молодые люди обращаются к святому, вознося молитвы Богу.
В ночь перед праздником Святого Саргса молодые едят соленый пончик, с которым связывают сон жениха или невесты. Один из памятных обычаев этого дня – попеременно ставить стол на крыше дома. в доме или на балконе и жди следа лошади отряда.
По традиции, Святой Саргис должен пройти в сопровождении ангелов, и тот, кто оставит след копытом своего белого коня, символизирующий чистоту и непорочность, в муке или винегрете, помещенном в алтарь, в тот год сбудется мечта верующего человека. .
По случаю праздника молодые люди дарят друг другу открытки и сладости. В день праздника в храмах имени солдата совершается богослужение, после которого совершается чин благословения молодых.
