Սուրբ Աթանաս և Սուրբ Կյուրեղ հայրապետներն իրենց ողջ կյանքն ապրել են հանուն քրիստոնեական հավատի ուղղափառության հաստատման ու տարածման: Պայքարել են թյուր ուսմունքների դեմ, գրում է qahana.am-ը։

«Տիրոջ համբարձումից հետո առաքյալները քարոզեցին ամբողջ աշխարհում, մկրտեցին հեթանոսներին Հոր, Որդու և Սուրբ Հոգու անունով: Առաքյալներն ունեցան իրենց աշակերտները: Ժամանակին շատ զորացավ Ալեքսանդրիայի դպրոցը: Արեգակներ փայլատակեցին այնտեղ, ինչպիսին Աթանաս Ալեքսանդրացին էր և Սուրբ Կյուրեղը, որոնց առաքելությունը շատ կարևոր էր Տիեզերական Եկեղեցու համար»,- նշում է ԱՀԹ առաջնորդանիստ Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցու խորհրդակատար Տեր Շահե քահանա Հայրապետյանը:

Սուրբ Աթանասը ծնվել է 296 թվականին Ալեքսանդրիայում: Իր աստվածաբանական ուսումը ստացել է հայրենի քաղաքի հանրահռչակ աստվածաբանական ճեմարաններում: Դարձել է Ալեքսանդրիայի Եկեղեցու պատրիարքը և իր գրեթե ողջ կյանքն անցկացրել արիոսականների դեմ պայքարելով: Արիոսականները քարոզում էին, թե կա մեկ Աստված՝ Հայր Աստվածը և չէր ընդունում Հիսուսի Աստված լինելը:

Հայրապետը հալածվել է, բազմիցս վտարվել, սակայն չի նահանջել ճնշումների պատճառով: Վերադարձել է իր Աթոռին և կյանքի մնացած տարիները նվիրել Քրիստոնյա Եկեղեցու վերակազմելուն: Հետագայում Նիկիայի Ա տիեզերական ժողովում մերժվում է Արիոսի շարժումը, դատապարտվում նրա մոլորությունը:

«Մեր հայրապետները ճշմարտության ջատագովներն էին: Նրանք Երկինքը բացեցին մեզ համար: Նիկիո ժողովը հաստատեց մեր հիմքերը, դարձավ մեր լույս ճանապարհը՝ աստվածաճանաչության, ինքներս մեզ ճանաչելու: Ընդունվեց ուղղափառ դավանության հիմնական դրույթները պարունակող Հավատո հանգանակը: Այն, որպես դավանության հիմք, մինչև այսօր անխափան գործածվում է Հայ Եկեղեցում, հռչակվում է Սուրբ Պատարագի ընթացքում: Հավատամքը դավանանքի այն բանաձևն է, որն ամփոփում է Եկեղեցու ամբողջ աստվածաբանական ընկալումները, պատկերացումները՝ կապված Սուրբ Երրորդության երեք անձերի հետ»,- նշում է Տեր Շահեն:

Հանգանակի հիմնական բովանդակությունն է, որ մենք հավատում ենք Հայր Աստծուն, ով ստեղծեց ողջ տիեզերքը, ով անսկիզբ է և արարեց ամբողջ աշխարհը, հավատում ենք Որդուն, որով, ստեղծվեց աշխարհը, ով Աստված է, կատարյալ Աստված և հավատում ենք Սուրբ Հոգուն, որ բխում է Հորից և էակից է Որդուն, որը նույնպես Աստված է։ Եվ այս երեք Անձերը միացած են անխառն և անշփոթ կերպով։

Վերջին համաքրիստոնեական հայրապետը, որն անցել է տոնելի սրբերի դասը, Սուրբ Կյուրեղն է: Նա ծնվել է Ալեքսանդրիայում 380 թվականին: Եղել է Ալեքսանդրիայի քսանչորսերորդ պատրիարքը: Պայքարել է նեստորական աղանդի դեմ: Նեստորը Կոստանդնոպոլսի պատրիարքն էր, որը Քրիստոսին ընդունում էր լոկ որպես մարդ, որը հաղթահարել է մարդկային թուլություններն ու մեսիա դարձել։ Նա Կույս Մարիամին չէր համարում Աստվածածին, այլ՝ մարդածին։ Եփեսոսի Գ տիեզերական ժողովում դատապարտվել է Նեստորի վարդապետությունը:

Սուրբ Կյուրեղի նշանավոր «Մի բնություն Բանին մարմնացելո» բանաձևը եղել է Հայ Եկեղեցու Քրիստոսի բնության վարդապետության հիմնաքարը, որով ընդդեմ Նեստորի երկու բնության բաժանող վարդապետությանը, շեշտվում է Քրիստոսի աստվածային և մարդկային բնությունների միությունը:
