Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Հաքան Ֆիդանը կիրակի կայցելի Իրաք՝ քուրդ զինյալների դեմ պայքարի, անվտանգության հարցերի եւ երկկողմ կապերի վերաբերյալ իրաքցի պաշտոնյաների հետ բանակցություններ վարելու համար, հայտնել է Reuters-ը՝ հղում կատարելով թուրքական դիվանագիտական ​​աղբյուրին։

Այցի ընթացքում Ֆիդանը կհանդիպի Իրաքի նախագահ Աբդուլ Լաթիֆ Ռաշիդի, վարչապետ Մուհամեդ Շիա ալ-Սուդանիի, արտգործնախարար Ֆուադ Հուսեյնի եւ իրաքցի այլ պաշտոնյաների հետ։ Նա կկրկնի Իրաքից Անկարայի ակնկալիքները PKK-ն ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն հայտարարելու եւ այն իրենց հողերից հեռացնելու մասին։

Ֆիդանը կընդգծի այն անհրաժեշտությունը, որպեսզի տարածաշրջանի երկրները «միասնաբար գործեն քրդերի՝ օրինականություն եւ հող ձեռք բերելու փորձերի դեմ», ասել է աղբյուրը։ Օրակարգում են նաեւ երկկողմ կապերն ու առեւտուրը:

Հարեւան երկրների միջեւ կապերը վերջին տարիներին սրվել են Հյուսիսային Իրաքի լեռնային շրջաններում տեղակայված Քրդստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության (PKK) զինյալների դեմ Անկարայի անդրսահմանային ռազմական գործողությունների պատճառով:

Սակայն դրանք բարելավվել են այն բանից հետո, երբ անցյալ տարի Բաղդադը խմբավորումը հայտարարել է «արգելված կազմակերպություն», եւ երկրները համաձայնել են անվտանգության վերաբերյալ բարձր մակարդակի բանակցություններ վարել:
