Шоколад вскоре подорожает в несколько раз

В результате изменения климата, в крупных странах, где выращивают какао - Гане и Кот-д'Ивуаре, резко сократился объем урожая какао-бобов. Крайний дефицит какао привел к резкому росту цен. По состоянию на конец 2024 года цена на какао достигла исторически рекордной отметки. За последние 2 года цена 1 тонны какао повысилась более чем в 5 раз, с 2 200 долларов США достигнув 12 000 долларов США. Согласно подсчетам экспертов, в течение предстоящего 1 года цена на шоколад вырастет более чем на 100 процентов. Крупные европейские и американские кондитерские компании уже подняли цены на свой шоколад более чем на 20 процентов, и не исключено, что в этом году также будет повышение цен. Чтобы бизнес стал управляемым, каждая из компаний предпринимает различные меры. Некоторые собираются снизить содержание какао в продуктах, другие признались, что возможно вместо какао продуктов станут использовать другие ингредиенты или оставят ту же цену, но уменьшат размер штучно продаваемого шоколада. Любителей шоколада ждет новое испытание. Потребителю следует быть по возможности бдительным, так как многие недобросовестные производители под наименованием какао будут выпускать шоколад с пальмовым маслом и иными заменителями.
