«Ես ամբոջղ կյանքում երազում էի քիթս վիրահատել, մի պատճառ կար դրա համար, ասում էին՝ դու մայրիկիդ նման չես, հայրիկիդ ես նման: Իսկ իմ մայրն իմ կարծիքով գեղեցկուհի էր: Ես հորս շատ եմ սիրում և ուրախ էի, որ նրան եմ նման, բայց շատ էի նեղանում այդ արտահայտությունից: Ինձ թվում էր, որ ես տգեղ եմ, դրա համար են ասում՝ հորդ ես նման: Հիմա, երբ հետ եմ նայում, շատ ուրիշ հմայք ուներ այդ քիթը:
Շատ ռեժիսորներ, այդ թվում՝ Արշալույս Հարությունյանն ինձ հանեց թատրոնից, ասաց՝ մայրիկիդ ես նման, քո ինքնությունը կորցրել ես: Արամ Շահբազյանը ևս թույլ չէր տալիս, որ քիթս վիրահատեմ: Ասաց՝ եթե ուզում ես, որ քեզ էլի նկարեն, քթիդ ձեռք չտաս, դա քո յուրահատկությունն է:
