«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մոսկվայի Կրեմլը՝ բոլոր կրեմլներից գլխավորը, միակն է, որ գրվում է մեծատառով։ Այն Եվրոպայի ամենամեծ ակտիվ ամրոցն է։ Նրա կիսառեժիմային կարգավիճակը բացատրվում է նրանով, որ ամբողջ համալիրը և՛ ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Համաշխարհային մշակութային ժառանգության ցանկում ընդգրկված հուշարձան է, և՛ ՌԴ նախագահի պաշտոնական նստավայրը։

Կրեմլը բաղկացած է 20 աշտարակից, 5-ից 19 մ բարձրությամբ, 3-ից 7 մ հաստությամբ և 2,5 կմ ընդհանուր երկարությամբ պարիսպներից, թանգարաններից, տաճարներից, այգիներից և այլ տեսարժան վայրերից։ Կրեմլն ի սկզբանե կառուցվել է փայտից, սպիտակ քարից, ապա ավերվել է, այրվել, բազմիցս կառուցվել ու վերակառուցվել, բայց ամեն անգամ նորովի դառնալով ավելի վեհաշուք։

Մոսկվայի Կրեմլը գտնվում է Մոսկվայի հենց կենտրոնում՝ Մոսկվա գետի բարձր ափին։ Ի սկզբանե Կրեմլը ծառայում էր որպես ամրոց գյուղի համար, որը առաջացել էր Բորովիցկի բլրի վրա։ Դմիտրի Դոնսկոյի ժամանակներից Մոսկվայի Կրեմլը սպիտակ քարից է եղել (կառուցվել է 1368 թվականին)։ Դարերի ընթացքում նրա պատերն այնքան էին մաշվել, որ օտարերկրացիները գերանների երևացող ծայրերի առատության պատճառով երբեմն սպիտակ քարը շփոթում էին փայտի հետ: Այդ Կրեմլը կառուցվել էր այն տարիներին, երբ Ռուսաստանում դեռ չէին լսել իտալացի վարպետների մասին։ Ունենալով վարպետ Արիստոտել Ֆիորավանտին՝ Իվան IIIը մտածելու բան չուներ։ Այնուամենայնիվ, Արիստոտել Ֆիորավանտիի անունը ոչ մի տեղ չի նշվել որպես Մոսկվայի Կրեմլի շինարար: Բայց շատ պատմաբաններ հակված են հենց նրան համարել կառույցի գլխավոր հատակագծի իրական ստեղծող, որն ուրվագծել է Կրեմլի պարիսպների ընդհանուր գիծը: Մոսկվայի Կրեմլի վրա աշխատանքներն իրականացվել են այնպես, ինչպես Ռուսաստանում երբեք այլ ամրոց չի կառուցվել։ 100 սաժեն շառավղով տարածքում ոչ մի շինություն չի մնացել։ Անգամ մի քանի դար այնտեղ կանգնած եկեղեցիներն են քանդվել։ Շինություններից մաքրվել է նաև Մոսկվա գետից այն կողմ գտնվող տարածքը, որը գտնվում է Կրեմլի ապագա պատերի դիմաց։ Շինարարության նմանատիպ մոտեցում պահանջում էին այն ժամանակների ամրացման կանոնները, որոնք գալիս էին Եվրոպայից։

Ֆիորավանտիի մահից հետո շինարարությունը ստանձնել են այլ ճարտարապետներ։ Այսպիսով, ոմն Անտոն Ֆրյազինն է սկսել աշխատել Կրեմլի պատերի կառուցման վրա, նա կառուցել է Տայնիցկայա աշտարակը, ինչպես նաև սկսվել են աշխատանքները Վոդովզվոդնայա և Բլագովեշչենսկայա աշտարակների վրա: Վերջին չորս աշտարակների կառուցողներն անհայտ են։ Ընդ որում, վերջին աշտարակը հայտնվել է արդեն ցար Ալեքսեյ Միխայլովիչի օրոք 1680 թվականին: Կրեմլի վերջին ամրությունների կառուցումն ավարտվել է Իվան III-ի որդու՝ Վասիլի IIIի օրոք, երբ նաև հսկայական խրամատ է փորվել, որի հատակը շարվել է քարե սալերով, իսկ հետո ջրանցք է փորվել՝ երկու գետերը՝ Մոսկվան և Նեգլիննայան, միացնելու համար։ Արդյունքում Մոսկվայի Կրեմլը, կարծես թե, վերածվել է կղզու:
