ՆԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Արմեն Ղազարյանը հունվարի 30-ին ընդունել է Լիտվայի արտաքին գործերի նախարության Արևելյան հարևանության քաղաքականության հարցերի դեպարտամենտի ղեկավար Մանտաս Յակիմավիչիուսի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը։ Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել է նաև Հայաստանում Լիտվայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Անդրիուս Պուլոկասը։

Այս մասին հայտնում են Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունից։

Հյուրերը շնորհակալություն են հայտնել ընդունելության համար և պատրաստակամություն հայտնել շարունակելու արդեն իսկ ձևավորված արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը։
Փոխնախարարն, ընդգծելով երկու երկրների համագործակցության կարևորությունը, ներկայացրել է ՆԳՆ մանդատի վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող մի շարք ուղղություններում գրանցված առաջընթացը՝ մասնավորապես անդրադառնալով միգրացիայի և քաղաքացիության, ոստիկանության և աղետների ռիսկի կառավարման ոլորտներին։

Քննարկվել են նաև վիզաների ազատականացման և մի շարք այլ ուղղություններում համագործակցության ընդլայնման հարցեր։ Այս համատեքստում Արմեն Ղազարյանն ընդգծել է, որ ԵՄ-ի հետ վիզաների ազատականացումը նախարարության օրակարգային առաջնահերթ հարցերից է։ Այս առնչությամբ Մանտաս Յակիմավիչիուսը լիտվական կողմի պատրաստակամությունն է հայտնել համակողմանի աջակցություն ցուցաբերել Հայաստանին՝ երկխոսության ընթացքն առավել սահուն դարձնելու նպատակով։
Կողմերը պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել խորացնել փոխգործակցությունը՝ տարբեր ոլորտների համար մշակելով համապատասխան ծրագրային գործողությունների պլան։
