Հուլիսի 6-ին Արցախի Հանրապետության պատվիրակությունը՝ Նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի գլխավորությամբ, աշխատանքային այցով ժամանել է Մեծ Բրիտանիա. տեղեկացնում է Արցախի Հանրապետության Նախագահի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության գլխավոր վարչությունը:

Հուլիսի 7-ին Նախագահ Սահակյանը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի մայրաքաղաքում հանդիպում է ունեցել Հայ Համայնքային Խորհրդի անդամների հետ և քննարկել տեղի հայ համայնքի ու Արցախի միջև կապերի զարգացմանն առնչվող հարցեր:

Նույն օրը երկրի ղեկավարը Լոնդոնի Սբ Եղիշե եկեղեցում հանդիպում է ունեցել բրիտանահայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ:

Ջերմ և անմիջական մթնոլորտում երկրի ղեկավարը տեղեկություններ է հաղորդել Արցախի կյանքի, ձեռքբերումների և առկա խնդիրների մասին, պատասխանել բարձրացված հարցերին:

Բակո Սահակյանի խոսքով՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հայկական համայնքն ակտիվ դերակատարություն ունի թ՛ե Միացյալ Թագավորության, թե՛ Սփյուռքի և թե՛ պատմական հայրենիքի կյանքում: Նախագահը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին հայրենասիրության և հարազատ ժողովրդին նվիրվածության համար:
