Президент Египта отменил визит в США из-за плана Трампа по Газе

Президент Египта Абдель Фаттах ас-Сиси отменил визит в США из-за плана Трампа по Газе. По данным арабских источников, причиной является напряженность между Каиром и Вашингтоном из-за плана переселения палестинцев в Египет и Иорданию.
Источники сообщили, что в представленном египетскому политическому руководству отчете о ситуации говорится о «самом серьезном напряжении в отношениях с Вашингтоном за более чем три десятилетия». Они отметили, что высокопоставленные представители администрации Трампа отреагировали крайне негативно на обеспокоенность Каира в связи с реализацией этого плана.
Согласно сообщению, еще одной причиной напряженности, из-за которой было предложено отложить визит, запланированный на 18 февраля, стала реакция высокопоставленных чиновников администрации Трампа на недовольство Египта, а также то, что Трамп в Белом доме называл ас-Сиси «генералом»", что было воспринято как «некая форма пренебрежения».
