Reuters: Правительство Германии решило направить на Ближний Восток гражданскую миссию

Кабинет министров Германии принял принципиальное решение о развертывании полицейских сил для гражданской миссии Европейского союза для наблюдения за пограничным переходом между Газой и Египтом в Рафахе, сообщает Reuters со ссылкой на источник в правительстве.
Точные сроки, а также размер вклада Германии в обеспечение безопасности ключевого пункта въезда и выезда с палестинской территории еще предстоит определить, добавляет источник.
В прошлом месяце Европейский союз возобновил работу гражданской миссии с привлечением персонала из Испании, Италии и Франции для обеспечения безопасности контрольно-пропускного пункта, который также является основным путем доставки гуманитарной помощи.
Германия, где 23 февраля проходят федеральные выборы, ранее заявляла, что некоторые из ее министерств провели консультации относительно своей роли в миссии.
