Հարավային Կալիֆորնիայի ամենահզոր ձմեռային փոթորիկն այս սեզոնին Լոս Անջելեսի իշխանություններին ստիպել է հազարավոր մարդկանց տարհանման նախազգուշացում անել, քանի որ կյանքին սպառնացող ջրհեղեղների և սելավների մասին մտավախությունները մեծանում են, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը:

Նախազգուշացումները, որոնք ուժի մեջ են մտնում երեկոյան խաղաղօվկիանոսյան ժամանակով 7:00-ին (10:00-ին՝ արևեյլան ժամանակով) և տևում են մինչև ուրբաթ կեսօր, ընդգրկում են անցյալ ամիս Փալիսեյդսի զանգվածային հրդեհից տուժած տարածքները, ինչպես նաև Իտոն, Հերստ, Ֆրանկլին, Բրիջ և Սանսեթ հրդեհներից տուժած համայնքները:

Թեև ներկայում նախազգուշացումները հրամաններ չեն, Լոս Անջելեսի հրշեջ վարչությունից  հայտարարել են, որ հրշեջները կուղարկվեն «բարձր ռիսկային» շրջաններում տեղակայված տներ և տարհանման կոնկրետ հրամաններ կտան: Կախված նրանից, թե ինչպես կզարգանա փոթորիկը, կարող են լայնածավալ կարգադրություններ հետևել։

Օդերևութաբանական ազգային ծառայությունից հայտնել են, որ ջրհեղեղներ սպասվում են ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի քաղաքային շրջաններում, որոնց վտանգը «ամենաբարձրն է Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայի շրջաններում»:

«Վերջերս այրված տարածքների մերձակայքում գտնվողները պետք է ուշադիր լսեն տեղական իշխանությունների հրահանգները: Այրված հատվածներում հեղեղումները կարող են վտանգավորև լինել կյանքի համար»,- հավելել են օդերեւութաբանական ծառայությունից:

Նահանգի  արձագանքման շրջանակում, Հարավային Կալիֆոռնիայի շրջակայքում տեղադրվել են գրեթե 120 մղոն երկարությամբ պատնեշներ՝ ջրհեղեղները կանխելու և անձրևների հոսքը և բեկորները գետեր և լճեր լցվելուց պաշտպանելու համար: Զանգվածային գործողության համար ութ շրջաններում պատրաստվել են 319 հազար ավազի պարկեր, ավելի քան 240 հրշեջ մեքենաներ և անձնակազմի 400 անդամներ:
