ԱՄՆ նահանգներից մեկում կարող են մտցվել հրազենից ճիշտ օգտվելու կանոնների դասեր մանկապարտեզներում

Օրինագծի համաձայն, որն ուրբաթ ընդունվել է Յութայի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի կողմից, երեխաներն արդեն մանկապարտեզում պետք է ուսումնասիրեն հրազենից օգտվելու անվտանգության կանոնները, գրել է Politico-ն:
Հանրապետականների կողմից վերահսկվող Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը 59 կողմ, 10 դեմ ձայնով հավանություն է տվել այս միջոցին եւ ուղարկել այն Սենատ՝ չնայած հրազենային բռնության կանխարգելման որոշ պաշտպանների մտավախություններին, որ այն ավելորդ բեռ կդնի երեխաների վրա:
Այս առաջարկի համաձայն՝ պետական դպրոցների սովորողները ուսուցանման 12 տարիների ընթացքում պարտադիր ուսուցում կստանան, թե ինչպես արձագանքեն, եթե բախվեն զենքի:
Դասերը, որոնք կարող էին ներկայացվել տեսահոլովակի տեսքով կամ իրական հրազեն ցուցադրող հրահանգչի կողմից, կցուցադրեն զենքի անվտանգ վարման եւ պահպանման լավագույն փորձը՝ դժբախտ պատահարներից խուսափելու համար: Մինչ նախակրթարանի տարիքի երեխաները հասնեն վեցերորդ դասարան, նրանք առնվազն երեք անգամ կիմանան զենքի հետ վարվելու անվտանգության մասին, ընդ որում՝ հնարավոր է, որ այս ուսուցումն սկսվի մանկապարտեզից, երբ երեխաները մոտ հինգ տարեկան են:
Օրինագծի հանրապետական հովանավոր, Սիդար Սիթիից ԱՄՆ ներկայացուցիչ Ջեյ Ռեքս Շիփն ասել է, որ նախաձեռնությունն ուղղված է փոքր երեխաների կողմից պատահական կրակոցների կանխմանը: Նա նշել է, որ դասերը կանցկացվեն տարիքին համապատասխան, յուրաքանչյուր դասարանի համար, իսկ կրտսեր տարիքի դպրոցականներին կսովորեցնեն չդիպչել զենքին եւ անմիջապես զգուշացնել մեծահասակներին:
Յութայի նահանգի օրենքն արդեն թույլ է տալիս դպրոցներում դասավանդել զենքի անվտանգության կանոնները, սակայն Շիփն ասել է, որ ուսուցիչները ներկայում դա չեն անում: Նրա օրինագիծն այն պարտադիր է դարձնում, սակայն ծնողներին թույլ է տալիս հրաժարվել իրենց երեխաների ուսուցանումից: Եթե այն արժանանա հանրապետականների գլխավորած Սենատի հավանությանը եւ ուժի մեջ մտնի, դասերը կսկսվեն հաջորդ ուսումնական տարում:
Մեկ այլ նահանգում՝ Թենեսիում, գործում է օրենք, որը պահանջում է, որ պետական դպրոցները զենքի անվտանգության ուսուցում իրականացնեն, բայց այն թույլ է տալիս կրթության ոլորտի պատասխանատուներին որոշել, թե որ դասարանից։ Ըստ նրանց՝ սովորողները պետք է սկսեն նման ուսուցում ստանալ: Դասերը, որոնք կսկսվեն հաջորդ ուսումնական տարում, կլինեն ամենամյա եւ չեն ներառի մարտական հրազենի կամ զինամթերքի օգտագործում։
