Սասունիկ գյուղում նպաստառու ընտանիքի 25 հատ խոզը աֆրիկյան ժանտախտից անկել է: Այս մասին հայտնել է SHAMSHYAN.com-ը:
Արագածոտնի մարզի Սասունիկ գյուղի բնակիչ Մհեր Մխոյանը SHAMSHYAN.com-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում ասել է. «Վարձով վերցրած այդ տարածքում ունեի 2 մայր խոզ և 23 հատ մորթի ենթակա, միջինը 60 կմ միս տվող խոզեր, որոնք բոլորը մի քանի օրվա ընթացքում հիվանդացան ու սատկեցին։ Դիմեցի սանեպտիկայանին, եկան, արձանագրեցին, հաշվեցին, որ մոտավոր 4,5 մլն դրամի վնաս եմ կրել ու ըստ նրանց անկման պատճառը՝ աֆրիկյան ժանտախտն է եղել։ Քաղաքապետարանը տրամադրեց տեխնիկա, ես էլ հաշմանդամ հայրիկիս հետ, սայլակով խոզերը տեղափոխեցինք ու թաղեցինք, քանի որ այդպես է պահանջում օրենքը։ Հարևաններիս խոզերը նույնպես վարակվեցին, բայց նրանցը մեկ, երկու հատով էին ու կարողացան իրացնել՝ միչև կանկեին, իսկ ես ազնիվ մարդ եմ, չէի կարող ոչ մեկի խաբել, թե հիվանդ չեն ու մորթեմ, վաճառեմ։ Ես հաշմանդամ եմ, մի աչքս չկա, ընտանիքս անապահով է, նպաստով ենք ապրում, հիմա էլ այս դժբախտությունը պատահեց, չգիտեմ էլ որտեղից եմ փակելու կերի և մյուս պարտքերը։ Հույս ունենամ, որ պետությունը կփոխհատուցի ինչ որ չափով, հակառակ դեպքում չգիտեմ էլ ինչ եմ անելու»։
