Հայաստանում գրադարաններից ավելի շատ օգտվում են իգական սեռի ներկայացուցիչները

Համացանցի տարածման պայմաններում, երբ, մի շարք ծառայությունների թվայնացմանը զուգահեռ, էլեկտրոնային են դարձել նաև գրքերը, ընթերցասեր հասարակությունը շարունակում է օգտվել նաև հին ու ավանդական եղանակից` գրադարաններից:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` Հայաստանում գրադարաններից օգտվող ընթերցողների մեջ գերակշռում են կանայք` 68.3 տոկոս, տղամարդիկ համապատասխանաբար կազմում են 31.7 տոկոս: Ինչպես վկայում են ՀՀ ազգային վիճակագրական ծառայության «Կանայք և տղամարդիկ 2015» գրքույկի տվյալները, ամենից շատ գրադարաններից օգտվող կին ու տղամարդ ընթերցողները Երևանում են, հետո Արմավիրի մարզում, նաև Շիրակում, ամենաքիչը` Վայոց ձորում և Արագածոտնում:
Մինչև 15 տարեկան, 16-25 և 26-ից բարձր բոլոր տարիքային խմբերում էլ իգական սեռի ներկայացուցիչները մոտ երկու, երբեմն էլ ավելի անգամ գերակշռություն ունեն արական սեռի ընթերցողների նկատմամբ: Ըստ տարիքային խմբերի` գրադարաններից օգտվելու առումով պատկերը գրեթե նույնատեսակ է Երևանում ու մարզերում:
Ինչ վերաբերում է կրթական մակարդակին, ապա Երևանում բարձրագույն, թերի բարձրագույն կրթություն ունեցողներն ավելի հակված են օգտվել գրադարաններից, քան միջին մասնագիտական և միջնակարգ կրթություն ունեցողները: Իսկ, օրինակ, Արմավիրի մարզում բարձրագույնավարտներն ավելի քիչ են օգտվում գրադարաններից, քան մյուս կրթական մակարդակ ունեցողները:
Ինչ վերաբերում է գրադարանային աշխատողներին, ապա Երևանում տղամարդ գրադարանավարները երկու անգամ գերակշռում են կին գրադարանային աշխատողներին: Մարզային գրադարաններում ավելի շատ կանայք են աշխատում, քան տղամարդիկ: Կոտայքում նրանց թիվը հավասար է, իսկ Տավուշում տարբերությունն ընդամենը 0.4 տոկոս է` հօգուտ կին աշխատողների:
